Linking multiple engines with a single fuel...on/off switch?

I  found i needed   3 steam engines  to  move  ly ship along at a respectable  speed.... but i have to   fuel    then start them individually ...and   stop them  individually.

What would be neat  is to be able to  link them  so  all engines   can be  fueled    and  switched  on  or  off   from one   command.

you can start/stop all engines at once using your steering wheel (boat or car)! on a boat you switch between "sails" (even if you don't have any) and "engine".

for faster refilling you can craft a coal basket.
