New server: Tutorial for new players!

With launch just around the corner we want all the new people who come to this game to have the best experience possible. 

This is why we're making an adventure tutorial server to help new people get started.

PHASE 1: Tutorial

The current tutorial leads people all the way from rafting the first pickaxe to making a ship. 

 

PHASE 2: Adventure

In Phase 2 we want to have a lot of interesting things for established players to enjoy as in our minds it's ideal if established players are the ones to teach the new people how to play. 

Therefore we are working on all sorts of interesting ruins to find.

I  have  established  ( along with 2 others) a base there, and we  found the tutorial  area  clever, and helpful.  Unfortunately we still get the ones   who log in and  sit at the beach ...and also  some who prefer to steal and plunder ...but  then, thats   normal for   all worlds ...including  real ones!

Ya working on some fixes to deal with the greifers. I forgot to make the talking penguins indestructible so someone let them loose

also red,  those   glowing   rock things ..people  dig  around and under them   as there is no  explanation of what they are for ...a  lot  are now   partly  buried in deep holes....

Also red, the  talking  crab   who feels the cold and   asks for the fire to be lit ..hes  now   caught  laryngitis and  stopped talking ...or  someone has   placed  him in a pot ...  for  dinner

Really, it was actually those big stone statues That ask you to light the fire.
