How to make a Blueprint from a downloaded Editor Map.

Recommended Posts

Download the map and make sure to have Ylands closed.

Move the map file from your Downloads folder to the appropriate folder in Ylands.

.yland files go into Scenarios...  .ylandsgame files go into SaveGames

For .yland files......

Open Ylands, and start Editor.

The map you just added should be first, or at least in the list.  Open that map.

Make a composition of your build.

Click Editor, then Open.

Click "Scenarios" at the bottom of the popup window to get to the "Games" tab.

Find an explore map where you have a Protective Barrier and open.

Place your new composition inside your Protective Barrier.

Save and Test.

Make and Equip a Blueprint Camera.

Make your blueprint and place it to make sure you have it all.

If it is a .ylandgame file...

Open Editor, and choose any map you have, or start a new blank map.

Click Editor, then Open.

Click "Scenarios" at the bottom of the popup window to get to the "Games" tab.

Find the map you just added and open.

Make a composition of your build.

Click Editor, then Open.

Click "Scenarios" at the bottom of the popup window to get to the "Games" tab, if you need to.... just make sure it's on the "Games" tab

Find an explore map where you have a Protective Barrier and open.

Place your new composition inside your Protective Barrier.

Save and Test.

Make and Equip a Blueprint Camera.

Make your blueprint and place it to make sure you have it all.
