I already PM'd Ane on this, but here is a longer explanation: The model for the 1x1x2 wooden block slope is actually a tiny bit bigger than 1x1x2. If you try to place a block in front of a slope, you can only do this by placing the slope first and the block second, as illustrated in the screenshots:
The size difference is very hard to notice, and because of that can be frustrating for people unknown of this "problem". I understand that having the blocks a bit bigger could be a design decision, but if so I think the small extended edge shouldn't have a hit box.
