CAN'T SEE FRIENDS LOCATION ON LOCAL MAP

Some of my friends can see others on the map, and some can not. Why is it happening? Where is the archive to see my friends in the map inside the folder? OBS: LOCAL SERVER

When you say map you mean the item you craft? As far as I know player locations are not marked in the map.
