Welcome to LemonBrew Roleplay! A 24/7 Dedicated Server dedicated to serious roleplay on our home-built EvoCity map!

 

EvoCity is our home-built map for Yland's. It is based off of the popular Garry's Mod Roleplay Map - RP_EvoCity2_v5p. While it is not a completely identical recreation, it is quite similar in many aspects to it, and contains many of the same buildings.

In EvoCity, you can be anything you want. Whether you want to keep the peace as a Peacekeeper(Police Officer), heal the sick as a Doctor, or run any business you can think of, there is plenty of space available on the map to either build from scratch, or inhabit one of the many existing buildings in the city already.

Every building in EvoCity is hooked up to the Electric Grid, which means they all have power and all have lights at night, which means you never have to worry about the boogey man coming to get you.

EvoCity has something for every player to do, and we encourage you to actively participate in this unique Yland's Roleplay experience.

While the server has a number of roles you can slot into, that shouldn't limit the possibilities of what you can be. Here at LemonBrew, we will support any good roleplay experience you want to bring to the table. If that means you want to open up a race track, we will help you do that. If you want to run a mechanic's garage, we will help you do that too. You don't need a special role to tell you what to do when you have your imagination.'

With all that being said, here are some of the roles you can slot into when you create a character.

• Citizen - This is the default average joe of EvoCity. They can be anything they want, as long as it doesn't infringe on the right to fun of others.
• Peacekeeper - This is the low level police force of EvoCity. They are equipped with the tools to handle hostile forces and dangerous situations.
• Enforcer - Think of these guys as the equivalent of SWAT. They are armed, armored, and can handle anything thrown there way with ease. The main duty is to protect the Mayor in his day to day duties.
• Mayor - This is the Mayor. He determines the laws of EvoCity. He can also tell the Electrician which buildings get power, and which don't. He can even approve leases on buildings.
• Doctor - Equipped with bandages and knowledge, the Doctor can fix any wound or illness in EvoCity.
• Miner - A major industry in EvoCity is the mine on the outskirts of town. It's quite dangerous however.
• Electrician - The Electrician is equipped with the tools to fix and find power outages, and is also responsible for managing the power grid at the relay station.
• Hunter - The outskirts are filled with tons of wild animals. Everybody needs to eat, and these animals can provide a food source for EvoCity, and an income for the Hunter.
• Farmer - Want to live in the wild, and plant things? Then the Farmer role is for you. Feed yourself, feed EvoCity, and make money doing it!

While I am not strict, I encourage you to use common sense and at least follow these basics.

1. Do not random death match or disrespect NLR(If you change class, you can ignore NLR)
2. Do not grief/troll others.
3. Respect your role. Do not abuse the authority of the Enforcer or the Peacekeeper.
4. Do not play Peacekeeper/Enforcer if this is your first time playing LemonBrew, become a citizen and build the community around you before you jump into protecting it.
5. Do not gold abuse.
6. Do not meta game and use ((Message_here)) to indicate out of character speech.
7. Have fun, and encourage a positive roleplaying experience to new players.
8. Use common sense, don't do something that you know would get you banned everywhere else.

Our server is up 24/7 and will soon be migrating to a dedicated machine. We encourage you to come try it out, and learn how to roleplay. If you're experienced, teach somebody new. There is a lot to explore and tons of fun storytelling to be had.

 contains all of the screenshots of EvoCity currently. The map will be released publicly for other servers to use once it is finished. It is nearing completion and should be done in February.

Had a wonderful roleplay session tonight where we took on the Curse of the Mummy King! To be continued as we have one last mission to end the curse and free EvoCity from it's grasp!

EvoCity and the Curse of the Mummy King
Chapter 1

It was a sunny afternoon, and Clarence was excited to meet the newest hires to the EvoCity Peacekeeper's Force. It's been a long road, but for Clarence Wang, EvoCity was finally turning around in his favor.
EvoCity had been well established. Over one hundred years of history had happened in this town. One hundred and three years ago, it was a boom town.

Established in 1914, EvoCity was a hotbed of industrialism, with it's rich and plentiful mining veins attracting miners from around the country. For years, the mines operated day and night, providing wealth and prosperity to the small but booming city. Then, in 1954, two miners uncovered a sight that would plague the city to this very day. Old artifacts, and a tomb, were discovered in one of the mine shafts. The mine was pure gold, and all the artifacts and sarcophagus was pure gold as well. They reported there findings, and told the people of EvoCity that they had heard whispers and had seen ghosts and "zombies" when they were down there. The very next day, a team went down to investigate the wild claims, only to find nothing. The two swore on their life that they were telling the truth, but nobody believed them without proof. Nearly a week later, the two original miners that had discovered the tomb, simply vanished. They were never found, and never heard from again. Then, a week after that, the team that investigated the tomb, also vanished.

The Mayor, in an act of desperation to prevent more people from vanishing, sealed off the dangerous sections of the mine. The damage was already done however, and Miners and prospectors refused to go down there. Thus, the downfall of EvoCity began. The locals that chose to remain would call this period of despair the "Era of the Curse of the Mummy King"

Clarence was no stranger to the story, but he also believed that enough time had passed. He was determined for the city to overcome there fear. According to the last reports taken before the closure, there was still plenty of resources left in the mine. So, in an attempt to bring new life to the town, he made an exchange with several wealthy developers. They would build the city, and in exchange, they would get access to the mine, and all it's potential wealth.

With EvoCity finally attracting new residents, it was time to start hiring a proper government. After months of searching, the new hires finally arrived, and began work. One of these hires would be Jamas, and little did he know the impact that he and Clarence would have on this city.
Jamas was an older man, but had spent many years on previous police forces. For him, EvoCity was a stepping stone to a proper retirement. It was small, relatively peaceful, and he could finish his career here, as the Chief of Police. On his first day, things would change for the worse.

"Pleasure to meet you, my names Clarence Wang." Clarence proclaimed excitedly.
"Jamas, sir. I'm ready to get to work." stated Jamas.
"Splendid, as the chief, maybe you should accompany me down to the mines for the Grand Re-opening." said Clarence.

With the events of the day scheduled, they went to the mines. They were dark, and damp, and clearly indicative of a bygone era. With a crowd forming, and local press in the area, Clarence took his lighter, and lit the first of the original torches in the mine entrance. A roar of applause came from the crowd, and with a nod, Jamas, Clarence, and some Mining experts descended the shaft for a tour. Reaching the bottom of the shaft, the Mining crew, and the Mayor and Jamas, would discover a second sealed shaft. The mining crew carefully laid out some dynamite, and everybody evacuated the shaft.

BOOM! went the dynamite, and with that simple act, the remainder of the mining shaft, and all it's resources were open. The Mining Crew and the Mayor began the tour again, and went deeper and deeper. A long the way, they would discover mutated animal corpses. The corpses were to be removed and taken back to the vet for examination, but it would have to wait til after the tour. There was still much to see and observe. Iron, Flint, Coal, Gold, Stone, Ylandium, and Marble were all in these veins. Clarence couldn't help but think of how rich the city would become, and a smile crept over his face. It didn't last very long, as they would stumble upon a discovery that would shake them to their very core.

It was the Tomb that the legends talked about. The golden tomb of the Mummy King.

Chapter 2 will be coming soon. Just thought I would share with you my recollection of our first role playing session. While there was four people that took part, Jamas and Clarence so far are the only important ones, as the others haven't returned to play in Chapter 2 and 3. There are new characters in those chapters though, and I look forward to introducing you to them.

Hello,I want to play this server,but i can not find it anywhere. i looked up Lemonbrew Roleplay on the explore MP lobbys,and the creative MP lobbys,can i still play it,or am i looking in the wrong place? Thanks!

He has not been on in a while. If you search P1 and choose P1 Filter we have a city up.
