RESOLVED Ship Helm model

The current ship helm model is actually about 3,5 blocks wide instead of 3 like it shows on the grid. See attached screenshot.

This should be fine now and it is 4 blocks wide, but since players could not place it in the middle of the ship in this form we made also smaller versions of all ship helm (3 blocks wide) so this should be fixed for some time.

You mean that it takes more space than what the grid shows?

Exactly! This wouldn't be bad per se but it's not centred on the grid either, it's only on the left side where it sticks out.

 

EDIT: It's also bigger on the backside (only the hitbox, not the model), since I am unable to place the helm against a wall. I can however place the helm first and then build the wall.

Another issue is the steering position: it moves me all the way back into my boat for some reason.

Does this happen to you in every ship you sail? You try to use the helm and it moves you all the way back?

Nope, I haven't sailed much ships at all. This is the first one with a roof over it's helm though.

For some reason it seemed to have fixed itself on this boat. I've placed some items on the place where my character would stand and now he stands right at the helm again
