It's intended use would be to mass pick up objects laying on the floor around the world, not to be used indoors -
This is kinda related to that but we need to make cannons more viable, right now there are no enemy pirate ships to fights or dragons that make cannons worth using.

This might sound crazy, but is there anyway to develop a way to "reroll" the seed of a island server and start it anew? For example, let's say you have a "home island" where everyone can relax together and multiple instance games that are connected to it. But let's say the other instanced games/islands are buggy, is there a way to reroll the server info such as have a new island and wipe all old information? It could be a great way to "debug" server issues.

Tbh I wouldn't mind auto picking up everything. Worst case scenario I just throw stacks of grass on the floor, but atleast I won't get arthritis 5 years sooner! ? -
Hey @kimbuck I'm making a small mod that there is a small chance when killing a monster/mutant/animal, that a map will be dropped that will lead the player to a hidden treasure chest. Does that sound something fun for you? If you have any fun idea's of things you'd want in the game let me know. Maybe, a way to hire monsters to fight for you or something? ?

Hello i'm right now trying to play a particle that is only visible to 1 player. My idea is to be able to highlight or point to things for a player without it invading other players visual screen. Ex: In this case, the only person who can see the green selection circle would be 1 player. Apart from this, I would like the ability to set Entity Welds into a "ghost" mode, which implies both no collision AND the ability to modify their colors/transparency. Ex: Thanks for your time

Just got back into the game but here is a suggestion I'd like to make with the UI (atleast for ingame). 1) Remove the character portrait or make it smaller(it's not really needed and takes up too much space) 2) Remove the shared inventory slots from the "main" inventory with the "equip" inventory. It's too confusing. It should be like minecraft where its in one spot only. 3) This will sound controversial but I would like fewer inventory slots. I feel 42 is a bit too big to the point where it's too easy to carry things from one location to another. Having fewer slows is easier to see visually and makes it more meaningful in which things you want to keep in your inventory. 4) I think it would be nice to also have a "crafting Tree" (that is also customizable), that shows what are the essential structures to build and in what is the order to get them. Ex: 5) When hovering over buttons in editor, please show the hotkey associated with it.

Hi It would be really great and make life easier if 1) We can assign and lock the active items onto a player (Or give them a 1-slot item bar) 2) If using the "get active item of player" and the player does not have an active item to return None (Entity) instead of giving us an error. 3) Disable players from using "i" to see their inventory when their hud is disabled. Could I get a simple explanation for the error New version should have the same GUID? What exactly does it mean and how do I avoid it?

I'm not sure exactly how this happened, but my game loaded up a tree bent. I don't have any scripts, playable zones or anything that could have affected the tree.

You technically can host private servers. Aslong as you host it (or someone with access to the game) and have world saving mode it will act just like a normal server. Keep in mind you should restart the server every hour or so to make sure it saves everything. On display it now appears that ylands only supports dedicated servers but that's only paper. The main reason for this is to avoid players (especially new ones) to getting bad server experience from 3rd party providers. Keep in mind the amount of money you are "saving" is also a loss income to Ylands (why do you think Minecraft have their own official server)

Hey Xeniya, great job on learning all the hard math to implement nice features in Ylands! What games are you currently playing? (If you aren't, I would suggest Ori the blind forest forest, it has beautiful art)
