    RESOLVED {Bug} Prop pack color

    I know they are aware of this issue at Bohemia..I think the color issue has a lot to do with the fact the propeller pack changes colors now while it is used....and there is extra animation for when it overheats. I personally love all the work they did on nerfing the pack....but I will agree with everyone and say we need a bit more time flying....maybe 30 seconds would be awesome....and once they get done addressing that issue.....fingers crossed we can change the colors after......I don't know who's in charge of choosing colors there.....but I mean really....orange, blue and neon green isn't a great combo for color....I wish the defaults were sort of neutral.....like greys and blacks and maybe a touch of coppers and steel....I'm tetrachromat so that means I see about a few million more colors than average people......it also means I think the propeller pack default colors remind me of vomit.....combined with the guardian armor default colors....it makes me want to scream....but I can say I approve of the new animations for overheating.....it's definitely impressive work....Not sure how many people noticed the "Mirage steam effect"...it only happens for a brief few seconds but I loved that attention to detail

    According to Ales.....that's the master plan....I have 2 of the custom maps saved, including this one.....I have not chopped down a single tree or dug in the dirt there.....it's just too beautiful to even consider modifying

    RESOLVED [YLD-29951] Traders disappeared

    I know I can't find any now since 1.6.....perhaps because they added the vendors....but I still have old maps saved and the traders are still there. I liked them for their shipments. It was quite useful for large builds.

    Hi @Nikki Severin I'm the resident Ghost hunter/paranormal investigator. (hence the nickname) I also have played music for years and have been in several blues/rock bands in New Orleans Louisiana, Branson Missouri and Louisville Kentucky. I am a published poet as well. I have been playing Ylands for almost 2 years now. I enjoy playing a few other video games like Bejeweled, Chuzzle, Starcraft, Age of Empires....mostly old school games. I enjoy Ylands mainly because of the community. It's a great way to be creative but also to meet like minded people that dedicate their time to helping others. I foster dogs for a local rescue. It's a rewarding experience that has taught me everything I need to know about unconditional love Finally, like you....I'm also a huge geek. I grew up playing Dungeons and Dragons and had a good chuckle a few weeks ago when I asked @Aleš Ulm on the live stream "What is the answer to life, the universe and everything" and he properly answered "42". The old CM Adam and I used to have little conversations and jokes pertaining to Terry Pratchett and Monty Python so I was quite happy when Ales got the Douglas Addams reference.

    This has mainly to do with the "ignore" function on the forum page. I have included a pic I have chosen to ignore this user but he still shows up in topics on the top right hand side and the bottom right hand side of the screenshot... Is there any way to make ignore feature actually ignore the fact that he keeps posting in topics?

    It would be even better if users were allowed to ignore the IP address entirely....so no more players would be subjected to his constant name changes and new accounts....and brazen spam of websites that exist for 3 days....nobody can join his so called "communities" because he constantly takes all his community pages down, creates a new one a day later after promising EVERYBODY HERE he has made his last post ever on the forums.....in all honesty it makes me want to leave the forums entirely. I am begging you devs. Find a way to stop the spam

    I truly hate to point this out....but I am done with spammers on this forum. He's the worst offender, but nobody can stop his incessant behavior.....the best option is ignore when he creates another account (and he has hundreds of accounts) so yeah I don't mind ignoring them all...but it would be great if "Ignore" actually did the trick so I don't have to see his nonsense

    I'm with you there.....when you try to figure out the sloped blocks it's usually looking at a picture of a square compared to another square. The pictures should more accurately represent the slopes and corner blocks....I mean show an angle at the very least. I've included a pic. I'd rather see this angle than see the square bottom side of the block.

    a knife can be used as a weapon, but mostly it is used for crafting poles, extracting resin from trees, etc I might use a knife as a weapon if my only other option were my fists

    I usualy have at least 4 to five slots of shashliks.....it's why I want a lunchbox.....an Ammo box would also be equally useful I mean I would carry more if I could....but usually 3 slots are just reserved for bullets.....and several chests on my ships are full of ammo

    I'm still waiting on a backpack and a lunchbox...a belt would be awesome but I think that would require them to make another slot for equipped inventory. Let's hope for the future As far as lanterns, flashlights knives and axes etc going into the toolbox, I'm all for the idea.....but I'm already carrying 2 toolboxes...one is for power tools and terrain modifiers and various hammers, the other contains sewing kit, fishing rods, lighters, torches, and the items that are required for crafting like saws chisel, screwdriver and stone mortars (I do love the fact you don't have to remove these from the toolbox to use them)....my only suggestion is, maybe make more slots available for toolboxes. I ended up using a paintgun to make the toolboxes different in appearance so I know which toolbox to get into when I need it

    I think what @Aleš Ulm is implying is simplifying the menus to make gameplay more fluid and less laggy overall. I think everybody can agree waiting for the full menu to load can be quite time consuming.....especially if you just want to craft say.....a stone block....there's no use in looking at all the other recipes that don't have the stone. It's a bit of a pain waiting for all the sandstone blocks to load in the menu if all you got in your inventory is some logs... I guess my question is, is that what you are implying Ales? Keep core menu items like blacksmith, foundry tanning racks, etc as recipes that are "unlocked" but other menu items only "unlocked" if you have the materials?

    I like this idea as well....but it would require an actual physical representation in the exploration world....sort of like blueprints but maybe they can be interactable with storage or like workstations?....Not sure though how much this would bog down actual gameplay.....seems like a great simple idea at it's core, but implementing the idea into action may take some serious complicated effort But lets entertain this idea....say people could make custom cabinet or couch recipes, different blacksmith stations (In appearance and maybe in recipes they can use) Those are a few small examples

    I personally think it is best if the recipes only show in the crafting menu based on the resources you have in you inventory. It's less laggy to load the menus. I'm only saying this because my computer has low RAM (soon to be upgraded) but for players with lower memory it seems to help. I do like the idea of "Core and fun" recipes....Core should include all workstation recipes, basic weapon and tool recipes, etc. Fun should concentrate on art recipes, better furniture, etc

    So does this mean recipes will unlock based on materials? I think that's a good option. You mention "finer statues" does this mean Busts will be included in crafting eventually?

    2nd Q&A with Aleš

    While I like the idea of dinosaurs....I think with Ylands the creatures should seem to lean towards mythological. Instead of Pterodactyls we could have Wyverns, Griffins, Pegasus, Chimeras ....instead of Raptors we could have Roc or Basilisks....I just think since they have elves, atlanteans, crab people, Jotunn, Golems, Mythical horses (unicorns), mythical rhinos and all those others....it could go in a direction of fantasy rather than Ark Survival....that's a great game and all (not knocking it). But maybe Ylands can find a better niche with fantasy rather than the Jurasssic era....although if all those creatures were included, dinos, mammoths, brontosaurs, dragons, ....far eastern could include the denglong, the xiao, the Luduan or the Mo, Aztecs have plenty of other creatures like the quetzecoatl, etc, ....we could delve into more Greek and Roman like the Minotaur, Medusa and the Kraken....so many ideas.....Maybe one update could just be a creature expansion.......but the bottom line is to include those creatures in exploration as well as editor....it's all lofty goals. The real bottom line with including all these creatures however is...don't just make them random encounters....make them a living breathing part of the world. Some should be very hard to find, while others should be as common as rabbits. The golems for example can be found wandering around at night....it seems pretty simple to make the jump that wendigos, crab monsters, atlanteans and elves should be doing the same thing...but maybe during the day....I dunno.....I'm not a programmer and all I can do is give huge thumbs ups to every change Bohemia makes. (I like the propeller pack nerf....I know you guys are fixing it to fly longer.....but please not too much longer)...wink All these suggestions however should maybe considered as a 1.9 or 2.0 update. I like all the things Bohemia is doing with explore so far (RANDOM CUSTOM MAPS!!!!!!!! THose are friggin fantastic!!!! the consensus there is from 100 percent of players that have found them....they want more)

    From me. Can we bring back the dev portraits as perhaps rare findable items in explore? Also how often do they plan on uploading the custom maps? The ones I found so far were pretty awesome and I would love to see more!

    Problema con los blueprints

    There is a bug right now for newer legacy maps as Ocnog mentioned. If you are trying to import a composition from editor to blueprint, use an older legacy map if you have one. If you do not have an older legacy map, let me know and I can send you a file of an older map that works for that purpose.
