Broken car passenger seats
spiritchaser28 replied to Yo HasLEGO's question in Suggestions & Feedback
Is this just in editor or in game as well? Either way it needs to go into the hotfix bucketlist -
I think they would have to rewrite the entire ylands game on a different game engine to accomplish that. And That would take years of work.

Sooo...you are thanking yourself? Ummmm ok

RESOLVED [RESOLVED] {1.6 Experimental Build} Propeller pack got stuck on drained
spiritchaser28 replied to ocnoglittle's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Huh? There were several bug fixes and a few great improvements. -
Where are the new custom scenarios in explore?
spiritchaser28 replied to zarwil's topic in General Discussion
I kept a few maps with traders as it seems they may have done away with them. The vendors are ok, but the traders can help with big projects since they have shipments of resources. I just named the maps after the trader's names so I knew what was on each map. Others with tier 3 islands I just call "hunting grounds". Some of the new special custom made maps have a name all their own. Not going to delete those because they are beautiful. -
I found the bottom one. It's indestructible. Can't even use demo hammers on it. I got no clue if it does anything but I want to get inside it badly. It feels like a puzzle of some kind

Where are the new custom scenarios in explore?
spiritchaser28 replied to zarwil's topic in General Discussion
They made the random encounters a bit harder to find now, but they are there. It feels a little more like true exploration without having to see the same hundred encounters in one map. I found a few maps with none at all and was quite delighted actually. It feels a bit like an easter egg hunt now. When you finally find something it is worth all the searching, even if it's an encounter with no fantastic loot. -
RESOLVED Still can't place blueprint
spiritchaser28 replied to zarwil's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Yeah the areas to place the tables have gotten a little tight since 1.5 actually. I find that getting to the side of the blueprint and slowly moving in one direction away from the build helps find the sweet spot. It used to be a lot easier to place the tables. Now, like in ships for instance there is a narrow corridor of space where I can place the table, and it's usually underwater... -
Glad to have you with us Nikki. Now we all know who to complain to when things go wrong. LOL! Just kidding we will still complain to Ales....he's got nothing to do. Hahahaha!

RESOLVED [YLD-29706] Certain corner roof tiles on my buildings have been tilted 45 degrees counter clockwise since last update
spiritchaser28 replied to zarwil's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
That's bizarre. Yeah that should be looked into. It's just the wood roof spike tiles right? or are any others doing it? -
RESOLVED [YLD-29706] Certain corner roof tiles on my buildings have been tilted 45 degrees counter clockwise since last update
spiritchaser28 replied to zarwil's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Were these blueprint builds that were pre existing? Or something that just occurred when you got done building it today? Just curious. -
They are addressing this in the next hotfix, according to Ales. I like the idea of power packs also. Full pack could give an additional minute, small battery could give an additional 10 seconds or something of that nature. You could also get full charge from charging stations. They have a system similar to this in Journey for the 12 Kingdoms and it works fine in my opinion. If you could top it off like the mining drill or scuba tanks n your inventory it would be an awesome fix. I also like the propeller pack nerf, but I guess the consensus is 50 percent like it, 50 percent do not. No matter what Bohemia decides to do, I'm certain somebody is going to be unhappy and somebody is going to be thrilled. It's a double edged sword.

RESOLVED [RESOLVED] New legacy maps don't have co-op settings
spiritchaser28 replied to ocnoglittle's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
This makes me glad I have an old legacy map saved, but for players that do not have one saved....they can no longer import a composition from editor into a legacy map to use as a blueprint. I would think this is an oversight/mistake, but it's something that should be included in the next hotfix for sure!- 1 reply

RESOLVED [YLD-29712] Incomplete blocks
spiritchaser28 replied to Yo HasLEGO's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
It's the same in game as well for the floating platform. I had just made a blueprint with the floating platform a day before 1.6 came out and the propeller blades are gone. Not sure about the letters or the car front in game yet. @Misa_Bondejcgirl or @Marci Magyar can you put these on your list? -
Y axis annoyance
spiritchaser28 replied to spiritchaser28's topic in Editor Bugs & Technical Issues
Thanks @Aleš Ulm for looking into this -
Ok so this is a small nuisance, but it has been bugging me for quite some time now. In older versions of ylands the default position of enitites placed on a zero y axis was at ground level. It is currently below ground level. This makes creating compositions a little annoying if you wish for it to be at exact ground level. I think this default changed with the watery water update, but it has not been fixed since. Below are examples of what I mean. The first picture is a block at zero y axis and it is clearly in the ground. the second picture is 0.047 and it appears to be at ground level (it may be one or 2 points off for exact ground level). Ground level y axis is clearly off center.

I love the idea of a glider. I also love the idea of having a hot air balloon or blimp attachment for ship bases. But that's probably a long way off.

RESOLVED cant play together with my girlfriend
spiritchaser28 replied to NobleKillalot's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
On the main screen at bottom left click play with friends. There you can set up a co-op or share game. On some maps inviting does not work ,but if you go to the region map you can share it with players by clicking the < symbol. When I set up a sharegame yesterday, the initial single player map vanished from the regional map view, but as soon as I traveled to an empty multiplayer spot it showed up. Then I was allowed to share the map. -
I also would like the option to change vendor's appearance in the future. Some people like to have themes to the places they build, and changing vendors appearance would be quite helpful to keeping the theme. It can look odd if somebody has an ancient egypt theme for instance and a vendor that is wearing blue jeans, sneakers and a leprechaun hat.....as an example. Perhaps a good way to do this would be when we trade to a vendor, they could equip themselves to the clothes we trade to them as well as be able to sell those clothes?

Well a parachute would be pointless since you sort of hover back to the ground anyhow. I do believe though that 10 seconds might be too short a flight time for most people. I was thinking maybe increase the flight time to at least 30 seconds to allow people to get pretty high and look around and have a bit more time to think about where you are going to land. A lot of people complaining about it use it a lot for traveling, but I believe having it overheat gives it some balance....but I will agree with everyone that the time is a bit too short, so maybe allowing upgrades to increase the time would make everybody happy, maybe 2 upgrades. One for 30 second flight and another for a minutes worth of flight. It might just be easier to have options for crafting a few different packs, sort of like the difference between an Iron air tank and a zirconium air tank. Just make the longer lasting propeller pack more expensive to make than the other. (zirconium propeller pack, and Guardian level propeller pack....anybody like this idea?) I sort of knew some people would get upset if they took away unlimited flight time, but I believe in exploration maps it is a necessity to limit it. People will disagree with me here but I try to look at it from a new player's perspective. I would not like it much if I were a new player that knew absolutely nothing about propeller packs to spend a few days building a ship and supplies to travel and finally make it to a multiplayer map that is PVP and suddenly be killed by some griefers flying way above me. With limited flight it at least brings those griefers back down to a level where you can either attempt to fight back or flee. I think a lot of the complaints I hear about it though involve building things, but with the building table you basically can "fly" around your build as an option while you are building for an unlimited amount of time, even though technically you are just standing at the table and still can be in danger of attack. Somebody said today that it took away all the fun by limiting the propeller pack. I suppose some people have a different definition of fun than me. I prefer being challenged. If I can just fly around all day and not worry about any challenges, then it's no fun at all. Yes I know as some people have said, "You don't have to build a propeller pack at all if you really want the challenge"....I like flying as much as anybody, but I also like the challenge of thinking on my toes about where to land. Basically If a person wants to play with unlimited flight they can go to sandbox or have an editor made random legacy map and give themselves a cube and just fly around without any challenges....I don't personally see the fun in that but some people like it I suppose.....so if that's what you want then there's your option. So In short, I like the propeller pack being limited in exploration, but I agree that it needs a bit longer duration in the air.

Good news everyone! I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful place today and noticed that the ancient relic on display is still there for everyone to see.
