  1. I think I remember the helmet lights being a lot brighter. Now I have to carry a torch in combination with the helmet light in the caves to see
  2. Maybe they could make a dimmer switch for electric bulbs at least? I would prefer brighter lights underwater though. Super dark down there even with helmet light.

    Pretty sure none of the cave mushrooms are edible. If they were I'd have a pantry full of the giant cave mushrooms and eat for years.

  5. Ok @Adam Snellgrove It happened again. This time I was leaving the game from exploration. It became unresponsive again. I have included output logs and was going to add the save game data map here, but this forum would not allow the extension type (.ylandsgame file) I will send it to you through discord. I noticed earlier there was one island are in particular giving me trouble when trying to go from one map to that map. I deleted it and it still would not let me get in. It wouldn't even allow me to change the name of the map. When that happens again I will forward the info. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
  6. Yeah my laptop has 1 Tb drive, but I don't run a registry cleaner or anything like that. I usually keep on eye on what files need to go and clean them myself. I also open task manager and close all non essential programs before I play to make the game run a bit smoother..

    Nice! I was dissecting it yesterday to see what all you put into it to maybe make a blueprint model. Shame you can't blueprint all the goodies inside LOL. You put a lot of thought into the design and layout

    They can join if it's password protected at anytime...that gives them the map by default...unless they protect it.....When I said scroll down to multiplayer settings and "Click that to set it up" I was referring TO setting up the sharegame, which is in the setup options. The other player can join at anytime IF they own the DLC ...if they do not have the DLC then they definitely won't be able to go in at any time. BUT...if they do have it, they can come and go as they please. I have done this numerous times with other friends. I should specify this is how I turn single player into multiplayer sharegames in exploration DLC. I used to host sharegames without the DLC, but they were just single island maps.

    I'm still up for the idea of unsummoning the barrier and summoning it elsewhere. Especially if a person finds a better map they like.

    That IS how you create a share game. Not sure what you are meaning. Once you click multiplayer settings you choose the amount of players and the password.

    Easy. On a single player map press "esc" then on the bottom you will see a box that says "multiplayer settings" Click that to set it up. If you want friends to be there when you are not online it needs to have a password. If it does not have a password then the map is closed except when you have it open. When it has a password, whoever opens the map first with the password becomes the host, and the map will close when the host leaves
  18. Well I removed that map...but when it happens again I will definitely do as you suggest. It sometimes happens when I leave the Locust map to go to any other island. I am there quite frequently. It is a multiplayer on a rented server that is password protected....when I move either to or from there from a single player offline server it happens....or if I go from singleplayer to multiplayer public server, same sort of thing....I think maybe it has to do with changing the styles of gameplay....single to multiplayer and vice versa. I decided last night to test how long it would remain unresponsive by leaving a multiplayer online game and going to a single player offline map without doing anything but waiting to see if it became responsive. After waiting a full 45 minutes of looking at "the program has become unresponsive" message from windows...it finally loaded the single player offline map. Seems to happen to me at least once a day because I do go back and forth between the multiplayer and single player games. So next time it happens I will send you the maps.
  19. Good vid. I also noticed when using the move function it does not seem to center the entities chosen the way it used to. when you used to click on the arrows without actually moving the blocks it would move the blocks to align properly with the ground or the water....now it seems to leave gaps in places. The only way I have been able to work around this for ships especially is to build the ships on the ground at zero axis for x,y, and z in editor. Not certain why the Y axis default is no longer zero. It makes blocks on the ground appear to be hovering with slight shadows underneath if you just start placing blocks without properly centering the build first. This causes a lot of confusion if the composition is saved as a blueprint if it is not centered correctly. Mainly because if you try to add blocks to the built blueprint later in the game, none of the blocks will snap correctly.....forcing people to freeplace.

    I agree I love how you did the ceilings especially, . Plus the various colors and textures of the rooms give it a proper old time appeal.
  21. Done and done. Happened again earlier today. Travelling from one map to another. I also went to the directory you listed above, however there was nothing in the crashes folder. No hidden files either it seems. output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt

    Sweet! Thanks Adam! I Love using them in editor, and some of the big rainforest plants. Making walls and structures have more character, asthetically speaking.
  23. I know you guys are working on a lot of bigger issues with rolling out 1.6 One thing I would like to see implemented aside from all the major suggestions people have made involves a few plants. Cave plants, irises, and lilies. and mushrooms. Right now if you pick any of the plants you get grass. You can destroy the lilies and irises to get seeds by whacking at them, but cave plants in particular get you nothing but grass. I know a lot of the cooler looking builds utilize cave plants as decoration to make it look like ivy on the walls, etc. I can live with whacking away at lilies and irises to get their seeds to plant as decoration, but I would LOVE to see cave plants being picked as cave plants and not as grass. I personally love to use them as decoration for the walls of buildings using editor. the same goes for many rainforest plants that get picked as grass. Allow them to picked so people can utilize them as decoration for builds instead of as grass. There's plenty of grass everywhere so I don't see this as being a difficult thing to implement. I think a lot of people with a keen sense of adding decorations would absolutely love this. With mushrooms, I'd like to be able to grow those as well. Perhaps utilizing a log as a "mushroom grow log". This may be a bit more work to make something such as this. Anyhow just a tiny suggestion for devs. If you decide to implement these suggestions, I am certain you would see a lot more incredible looking buildings being posted. On a small side note...I also think a lot of people love using stepping stones for decoration. Make those craftable please and thank you!

    Wow 3 days! That's a rough loss. And the barrier gone too means demolition hammer is useless as well.
