  1. Agree with above, it seems like the animals are more and more in controle with a "fresh spawned" Yland, it took me a long time to clear the MP explore spawns from wolfs and bears (even bears came in a pack of 4). 

     

     

    All I can say about this update is that it give me a feeling discovering Ylands all over again with a large part of the workstations and tools, and it actualy ain't so bad as that makes it a bit more challenging :) 

     


  2. You can't eat fast (how it should be) but while using both hands to eat you can still pickup resources. 

    Animations have changed but in 3rd person it sometimes look disturbed and sometimes wenn I sit on a chair and stand up again my person starts spinning around. 

    It is hard to pick up some things in 3rd person wenn there is a group of resources on the ground(in 1st person it is much easier so switching to it works).

     

    Wenn you use the bow and arrow to shoot and you hit something the "hit sound" comes 2x, together with a "hit indicator" 2x.

  3. Been working on the new workstations, must say it requires a lot more work/resources/practice, the first part of starting up on a new Ylands is just the same but once you got your foundry it feels like the game is new again. 

     

     

    And the rubber: that is just great really like how the animation is and actually how I wanted it to look like, great work on how the trees look after extraction of the rubber.

  4. Magical dogworld stil not showing up for me :(

     

     

    And also today: the explorer servers:

    Totalitarian lampzone (who comes up with these types of names :P) won't load for me, i need to press alt-F4 to restart the game again (stuck on server load screen). 

    Disturbing Monkeyworld: For some reason this has been very popular, seen a lot of people (at least there charakter)  only downside i can not create any type of leather, i killed bears, wolfs, boars, goats, rabbits and even a horse....... i got the tanning rack and a knife but it will not let me load anything :( and with this also no fun to continue as you can't create other (blacksmith workstation).

    Really hope you guys can take a look at it 

     


  5. On the MP server Magical Dogworld i have already been a bit busy :) a little barricade preventing predator attacks and already some workstations ;)

     

    New survivors, wenn they spawn in, should head left and follow the shore line for a bit than they will run in to this area, it already has some "1st need to survive" goodies in the open chests.

     

    Also been planting food supplies and flax so wenn we got a bigger group playing they got enough food to survive and cloth to make ;)   

     

    Will be building a "bigger wooden shelter with roof" wenn i have some more time this weekend :)

  6. Congrats on this great update Ylands team! 

    Already painting a bit in game, switching color and than use that color is not working for me yet, but just the first minutes in the game with the update and my son is in control of my keyboard now ? so I'll test that in a hour or so. 

     

    I really like the new interaction menu! Awesome work on that! Tried to summon the horses and they get teleported to my position :)

Guess as "Bohemia Interactive veteran" I already should know that you guys will try to keep this game going on for a long time(in my eyes 1 of the things what makes BI stick out above the other development studios), and looking at what you have done in the past 2 years  it seems to me we still got a big future ahead with Ylands and a lot of things to look fowerd to as "veteran players" but also the new players who will be join the ranks with the steam launch. 

    I really like the "compensation" for the veteran players who have been with the Ylands team for a longer time now :)

     

    Even though the ylands team still got a big road ahead all I can say is the Ylands team really did a outstanding job so far and the people who will join the ranks in December with the steam launch will be suprised how far the game has gotten since the E3 presentation :)

    In case code locks are far more expensive than normal locks you could always put your key pouch inside a single code lock protected chest, this way you could store your keys quite cheap and safe.

    True there has to be a "risk" level in a survival game.

Played some DayZ last week and this got me thinking: if you have such a object in your inventory (container with a personal key as example) and I "kill" the other player, all his gear will drop on the ground and makes me able to pick up that container and take out the special key, and if I have his key I will have access to his chest/locked object.

Thanks @Aleš Ulm looking fowerd to is and yes it is my fear to "lose" the object wenn it will be in my regular inventory, so a little warning on that "container" wenn you are about to drop it would be great :-) either way I am sure the @Ylands Team will find a great way to make it work perfectly and safe so we won't lose a key from our inventory :-) 


  11. Yes with the removal from the bones they could be on the 6+ rated list of the gamescom venue, and a lot of under 12's played Ylands while their dad(or big brother) went to the other Bohemia Booths of DayZ and ARMA3, seen it a lot on my visit

    If they would have kept them in the game for gamescome it could have made them 12+ or 16+ acces booth and they always wanted it to be a family game, would be the same if they even added even 1 drop of visual blood spatter in the game, it would get a "pegi 12 or 16" rating. 


  12. The "containters" we will be able to craft will get a spot in the backpack slot? :) that wold be awesome so you can keep your special personal items safe. Will it also be possible to link 1 of the items from that container to a fast switch button? Like a lantern? 

     

     

    The padlock system will make a lot of the MP servers much more fun to play on as you can "keep your personal items safe" untill you return, and not coming back to find out that your hidden chest has been emptied by a other player ;)

  13. Cut down 1 thing from flora and fauna (Tree, plants fruits vegetables) will give you 3 seeds wenn you break them, if you need a lot of cotton/flax don't start spinning them but break them to seeds and plant them to get a bigger amount. If food is hard to get and you dont have much make field for example watermelon or othe vegetables/fruit.

     

    If you need a lot of wood cut down most "large" trees, they give more wood and with the 3 seeds you can plant new large trees again to keep your stockpile growing a but faster. 

     

    Also create a "backup" chest where you have some seeds/supplies in to survive, if you are running low on supplies (like food) you always can start planting them to keep your stockpile up for survival ;)
