Are you sure it's not "Black ship bug" that contain on multiplayer? It happen to me couple times, only black ship hull left.Then I relogin, my ship back to normal. Here is my post in the past, I said this bug in Client side issue part point 4.

Yggdrasil Map/Scenario - Work in progress I've been working on Yggdrasil map for half of the week, so far I manage to create the basic center of the map which is Yggdrasil "The Tree of Life" itself and the surrounding area. My plan is to create map that will contain all of places/worlds that connected by Yggdrasil. I know it sounds so ambitious and gigantic project for only a man. But I'm ready to dedicated myself to create this world. This world obviously will takes so much time until it done, so it will be lifetime project. In the future, after big part of the world have been created, because the world so big, it needs hundreds or even thousand buildings/random structures, so I might need to use some of your building creations to fill the empty world. I'll surely put credit there. Here you go little bit sneak peek of Yggdrasil Map/Scenario: *because the game render distance is not so far, the pictures will only show some of the area*

Really interesting indeed.. Could it be continuous generation ylands? or overhaul the Ylands world mechanism? I just hope it can also be implemented in Custom map.

you mean above the default ship hull? Yes, currently thats only possible in Editor. I made the base shape of the ship in Creative mode, then overhaul the ship in Editor.

I did like you suggested(with "GO HERE" I can teleport to that spawn point, or game logics). If there is nearby yland, you can easily place the spawn point/game logics at first time. But if your ylands is separate far away(out of line of sight(render distance)), you need extra work and check the shape of your first spawn island. Atleast if you really at nowhere you can use what @Houp suggested. thanks

Can compass at least be there, @Ane? I mean since the time is freeze, sun not moving. We lost our sense of direction there.

Acquilla - Furnished Short Man of WarFinally after series of fixing issues(colors, clipping blocks) and decorate the entire Acquilla with furniture, decoration, storage, workstations, etc. Here you go some of fully furnished Acquilla pictures: Changelog of Furnished Acquilla: Remodel the hull ship and some structures. (you won't notice if your OCD power doesn't strong enough) Added fence and ladder beside masts (just pretend the ladders are ropes). Added bunch of decorations, so Acquilla feel a bit live. Added almost all of workstations. Added a lot of storage, I mean a lots. Added cannons, even tho it's not really being used so often, atleast it looks cool. Added energy system and Charging station. Added 2 ylandium engines for slow sailing speed, its inside Energy Room. Added 4 spot light at front to help you sailing at the middle of foggy seas, it controlled with switch beside the helm. Added forcefield door to protect your inner decks from the mighty birds, it controlled by switch inside Captain's room. block or bolt (or whatever) the entire part of building, by hold LMB and select entire blocks from above, make sure no wild plants included(remove them first from your surrounding house). Your river simply can't be included, but thats not all the beauty of your house anyway. -

like YadNi said, it's all start from Editor. So here is how you simply pack your scenario/map (you can't share your Explore Map to workshop, because it's simply too big and you don't have right to share random generated world as your creation) to ".ycp" and share it to Ylands workshop. 1. Click on FILE menu, 2. Choose "PACK FOR SHARING". next step is the same like YadNi said in workshop section (His pictures on workshop). -

actually what kind of stuff are you interested for sharing? For Building/structure that you made in Explore mode, you just need to select the entire building from Editor, then save it as composition. -

First of all, if this topic is forbidden to post, please just remove it, because I don't see anything in Forum Guidelines that forbid to post another game in positive manner. Remember to stay in positive manner and don't disparaging other games. So back to the topic, I just wanted to share my experience and impression from playing games, and maybe you can share your experience and impression too.. I have lots of favorite games so far, one of them is Uncharted Waters Online (UWO), UWO is game that focus on ships, 'player driven economy', naval combat, and adventure in general. Things that I like from UWO is trading ingame, because of most items ingame is provided by players, trading becomes very important part. It can drives you crazy, or make you really rich. I learn a lot of real things like sense of direction, history, trading, even being a beggar when I was really poor because of bankruptcy , and from UWO, I learn to love sail ships, that's why I'm falling in love to Ylands at first sight when I found Ylands. That's my experience, feel free to share yours, just stay in positive manner.

@Aleš Ulm there you go (Suggestion) Editor - Water Button - Sea Level thats his suggestion. @~Chris~ I kinda feel the same, I mean adding water in Editor is just pain in the head maybe because the nature is in freeze mode. And the "Toggle time freeze" button doesn't work or I simply don't know how it works. Holding LMB too quick nothing will comeup or too little. Holding LMB too long, you will make water taller than surrounding water level. Note: Editing Explore mode water in Editor is simply like solid because the time is freezing. Note: Background of this setting menu is taken in Explore Mode after edited in Editor just like 1st Picture. If the time not freeze, water will eventually filling volume of its surrounding so the surface level become pretty flat but there is issue as you can see the background of the setting menu in the picture above, some water don't want to touch the dirt(right side of the pond). And the sea water also act weird, sea water as I know is abundant and chance of sea level decrease because someone digging dirt/sand underwater is almost impossible.

We're talking about games not the hardware(Console(handheld/stationary), PC), whatever. Thats a lot of game title you have there, can you pick one and then tell us why is it become your favorite? Btw so do I , since I played alot of genre games, and there is no ultimate genre that contains all of the genre games. So I think thats not a problem.

[Feedback] My Experience Playing in MP Public Server(Official Server)

After I played in MP Public Server about a week now, I have encounter several issues (Game Version: 0.6.3.43619). I'm really sorry if my words is harsh and spelled wrong, I'm still in rage mode ON when I post this thread. Let me honestly explain/summary one by one. First there is several issues with the current Protective Barrier (PB). 1. Anyone who don't have claim of Protective Barrier able to dig/pour soil in someone's PB. In this case my friend @YadNiMonde experience this issue. (Very Critical) 2. Anyone can build chest/furniture inside someone's Protective Barrier. In this case I tried myself, actually I was attempting to protect @YadNiMonde house because he forgot to lock the door and have 2nd floor able to climb by anyone who jumping from trees to 2nd floor. I put chests to block the doors and stairs lead to 2nd floor. (Moderately Critical) (Note: I did like above picture before, griefer ruin YadNi's house.) 3. Anyone can lock anything (that can be lock) inside someone's PB. This issue potentially can be subject for griefers to piss off someone. (Very Critical) 4. PB should have setting if you wanna share your claim to someone, shutting down the barrier is bad idea for sharing claim. (Optional) 5. Any plants (ex. Orchid, berries, cotton, Trees not included) inside Protective Barrier is simply not safe. Anyone can still pick up those plants. So you can't make beautiful garden outside your house. (Critical) 6. Player that remove their character history in the server should make their Protective Barrier decay/gone. I honestly didn't try this (I avoid to be one of the griefer). But this point can be subject of the griefer if they're able to get multiple PB by removing their character history. (Moderately Critical) I think that's all for Protective Barrier issues, that I encounter. Moving next to personal issue (Client side issue). Basically this issues can be fixed by restart/relogin and consciousness of yourself. 1. Exploiting soil see-through. Able to see through soil is huge problem in PVP Server. In this case, I did myself and found someone (won't call his name) who desperately hiding inside the cave. (Whoever this guy in the picture, I know your feeling buddy. I didn't kill or take your stuff, I left the sign message for you there. ) (Moderately Critical) 2. This is bug that I encounter myself, you can open basically any chest that generated by server with Key Chain ( I'm desperately carry 30+ keys in my Key Chain). I'm able to unlock MK 1 armor chest at the tower with my Key Chain, even I didn't have first key at sunken sphere. And I'm also able to unlock Pirate Chest (which has old coins and musket) with my Key Chain without actually getting the Pirate Chest real key. (Critical) 3. Able to glitch character through the ground with rope ladder(and any other ladders maybe). I honestly found the rope ladder being placed by someone. Since I already have propeller pack on my back, glitching through the ground is not a biggy for me. I can simply fly to anywhere and glitch through on top of the ground or inside the cave again. (Critical) 4. Ship being blackout without anything on it for certain condition, only the hull is visible with really black color. I encounter this bug when I'm flying around island to get map data, and then back to my ship. This problem can be fixed if you relogin. (Moderately Critical) 5. Inventory item in some cases, will be duplicated. I honestly don't know how this happen, but I got 2 herb bags with exact amount and the same herb I have in other herb bag. And I got stone block that duplicated at another time. (Moderately Critical) 6. Sharks on the land seems still be problem for you, Devs. Even though they're not that much. Here is the picture. I think it happen when your screen generate yland. (Moderately Critical) 7. Blocks overlap each other, this issue happen when you click too fast when building using continuous feature. Basically the blocks will overlap each other at the same place. (Moderately Critical) I think thats all I have. I'll surely update this thread if I forgot something. My most concern is about PB, even with PB placed I'm not feeling safe playing in MP Public Server with those re*ards griefer. At current state, multiplayer is playable, but most of the time you'll never have "positive fun" at the end. Currently I will stop playing MP Public server until the PB issues being fixed. I'll summon devs that I know, @Aleš Ulm, @Khanecz, @Ane. I'm sorry, I have to summon you guys, just to let you know. (Note: All of the pictures above is taken from Public Multiplayer Server (Official Server). My message to all of the griefer out there, I warn you to NOT do what I was said above! You simply ruin someone's experience! If you wanna get "real fun" in the game, simply don't be an *ssh*le. Bonus picture: "I made complete public starter camp with basic stations near generated blacksmith on the spawn island, so newcomer can progress little bit faster. But someone who re*ard enough, place the PB on it. Maybe I'm just too kind to those people, I'll surely never do that again. OR Maybe someone generous enough to let his only PB placed to protect it." -

Yep I can't wait for this update, a lot of good stuff in there.. And I also hope that only the owner of Protective Barrier are able to lock the chest/door which is inside their PB. For despawn system, I think that is a must have in the future since it can maintain the server performance too, not only for item that dropped by player action (chopping down the tree like you said) but also like player stuff/player made structure including Protective Barrier itself. Don't be disagree yet, let me give you example: For player dropped stuff outside Protective Barrier might be vanish after 3-4 days rl. For player made structure outside Protective Barrier might be vanish after 10 days rl. For player made stations/furniture outside Protective Barrier might be vanish after they no longer being used after 3-4 days rl. For Protective Barrier itself might be vanish after 20 days rl if the player not login again in the server. So your house/structure that initially inside PB will totally vanish after 30 days, and your stuff/station/furniture that initially inside PB will totally vanish after 24 days. I think that is fair enough. 30 days for gaming time is pretty long, too long even for scavenger to wait. As admin you can change this time estimation in Editor. Note: all of this time estimation is only my opinion. -
Just suggestion from my mind. I think you need to add something at the backside of your house. Add balcony or something at 2nd floor, I don't know. Overall your house already looks better than the old version. I think you will stuck there without jump to get through that interior pillar with stone statue at your 2nd image. And here you go what I mean by Japanese/Chinese vibe with that walls. Maybe because you use that top roof part. Note: I took the picture from search engine. Whoever house it's, it looks beautiful.

Nice lighting you have there! I love how you use that fern at front door, simply well done dude. I don't know how, but it feels like japanese or chinese vibe there, with those walls surrounding your house.

lol , I got an idea to fix this problem, and don't need to change the overall look of the ship. Will update the Dreadnought 2.0 shortly after I feel it's right. FYI I'm currently working on interior design of Acquilla, seems people prefer ship being furnished than empty in my last strawpoll.

Thanks Chris, I realize this issue with Dreadnought, with stair facing backward is nightmare.. and I will try to figure out whats better to fix it (looks pleasant to our eyes, and functional like intended) and will update it shortly. I'm sorry for fast ship, I don't like being slow when moving around..
