Thanks @Silwercastle , you're able to do it start from now I guess.. to be honest, to make composition vehicle doesn't really take too much time and effort in Editor that is.. For my current biggest creation "Acquilla", it took like a week (6-8 hours a day) roughly, I did experiment things, thats why it took so long. Without experiment, I think you can done it roughly 2 days if the concept is already in your mind.

lol I don't know how.. but your camper is pretty similar with Keralis's vehicle.. Welldone it looks great! it's quite tricky to place object out of vehicle boundary..

I think Devs already mentioned this topic in one of the early devs diaries. And they're doing something for it in 0.7 update (CMIIW).

Suggestion: Plants seeding around themselves

I think your idea would be nice for future version when Ylands is optimized enough, for now it could cause performance and some other issues. In my opinion, some other issues mentioned is like we don't want plants to grow at some places but it does spread because of 'spread-itself' feature, example plants that spread and grow on dirt below our house/platform/road that we made, Clipping through eachother plants, and Balance issues for multiplayer game like plants only spread on specific area because some players already wipe out that certain plants. Some of this issue happened in old LiF, and other 'simulation games', which is quite frustrating. Note: plants in my post also means as trees, and all of this is just my personal opinion and experience. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.. -

I think your idea can be done by limiting craftable items for certain role (when you create character, you have option for role), so it will act like "skill-based" game mode. For current Ylands the default role is only Castaway and Creator (CMIIW), so your idea is possible to do in the future for certain map. [Update] I think your idea also really good for role-play based server, which is exist atm. In my opinion, skill-based is only interesting for multiplayer game. For single player game in other hand, skill-based means a lot of works to do if you want to try all the 'skill' available. -
Make The World Round Again [Suggestion]

Before I say something, I have question to clarify, what do you mean by "again" in the title? Does it means the old Ylands was round world? It's pretty cool concept idea, with this concept realistically we will know where exactly the edge of our map when we look at our 'Map item'. And I noticed (from graphical bug) that every yland in Exploration mode has their own square border around it, so technically we're just jump from that square border to another. This is my thought, it might be wrong. -
lol, thats included in "great responsibility" aspect.. Welldone for the water, it looks great. Wait until electric door works, then you can change the bridge with that. Or even better drawable bridge mechanism.

One quick question. Can we expect fore-and-aft rig for the ship in the future? I love building and sailing ship in Ylands, but with current square rig choices, it feels lacking. Something like fore-and-aft rig will be wonderful.

I already made few ships and cars with editor. My suggestion is, if you can, build a ship/car outside of the exploration/creative map (map that has lots of complexity). The key so far I discovered for creating stuff in editor is less object around, example flat infinite map when first time you launch editor. It will improve your saving time and also less chance for syncronization save bug. To really get around of this save bug, for blocks and colors. You need to frequently save the editor/composition (I did every 5-10mins) for major changes. And if the bug happened, I did fix it, every time I see then save it again (editor and composition). Eventually the bug won't occurs. For colors bug (objects color become white) when importing Ship/car to new savegame, it will mostly happen first time, but I tried to get around (seems working nicely so far) by fixing every white color object (not intended) then save the editor and composition. [Update] and refresh the editor by going back to Main menu and then to the Editor again. I did that every 30mins or so to check if the save bug occurs.

Acquilla - Empty Short Man of War Acquilla is inspired from real man of war ship in general. Since the basic large hull ingame is quite short for such a big ship, I decided to shorten the ship. The default large hull ship is hidden inside custom blocks, so it's well protected from any danger (except the danger from mighty birds). Front and back side of the ship is already maxed out the ship's boundary, couple blocks for the L/R side of the ship. For now I made empty version of the ship, so you can add your own personal touch for interior design (Top deck, Mid deck, and lower deck). What I did is just the hull (shape of the ship), masts, some decoration touch, and Captain's room. Acquilla is created with custom drag and rearrange blocks so it can fit nicely with default hull. It has large empty space waiting to be fill with your creativity, and your stuff. lol.. I already made those kind of ship and will be release atleast today (in my time zone). Definitely NPC will understand "aussie slang" if you make your own NPC. I will spread "wkwkwk" word with that NPC

If the items ID still same, I guess it should be possible, hopefully.. Can't wait to see how can we interact/make dialog with NPC..

Simple, just drag the blocks. lol FYI you don't need to quote the whole post, block/bold certain texts(hold click), so the thread won't cluttered with long post. Update: FYI my next ship project is 85% done, this is my biggest creation so far, it will have lots of space for your endless Exploration mode.

How do I take me map that is in edit mode out of edit mode?

I will answer your question by my understanding. First you need to make Spawn Point in Editor, then save the editor. Back to main menu, go to new game, from there choose your map, then play. You can also temporarily play in editor to test things out by clicking play at bottom right corner of your screen after placing the Spawn point. Please correct me if Im wrong -

Thats the fun of early access game FYI currently composition objects won't attach to the ship while ship is moving. That's the real pain of building a ship. Glad my next project is 80% done by placing and rearrange block by block. -
Hahaha, FYI you can give your character "the mighty cube" using Editor. if you really want to do that, no body can stop you. Remember with great power comes great responsibility.

for current water system, I think you can do that but the water won't flow that far and the coast water will reduce and doesn't look great , except you have teraformer tool, and pour water a bit should fix the coast.

You're welcome, yeah I encountered same problem aswell with composition objects. Until now I still dont know easy workaround to reset the grid when moving already placed composition objects. Maybe someone or @Ane know workaround for this problem? To solve this problem I use hold V to enter free placement which is hard to work with..
