    Yep, what you said is right and changes in deep down of the base code is nightmare for any software developers.. But sadly, our role here is only "support", "planning and decision" is a thing that only developers can do. Except they need or allow some sort of suggestions from users to 'get in' on their plan.

    Hahaha, I think it's better to wait until they implement the system (BP) they've planning, so we can understand "the base" and get improvement from our constructive feedback. Hopefully we get wonderful system.

    yep its happening.. so often I found couple boar or rabbit somehow inside the cave (not near the surface). They're (you actually) lucky if they ends up in the cave, not in black hole..

    Hemmh interesting functions.. Alright here is my questions about each of them above: First of all, will blueprint contain composition made by players(from workshop)? If the answer is no, then forget the rest. If yes then, What kind of blueprint that will scattered around the world? What make you consider which blueprint deserve to be monetized? "Basic structure" is a bit ambiguous, person A(noob) can say it's pretty complex but person B(pro) consider it really basic or simple structure. The last, can blueprint contain game logics? @TheSparkPlug I understand that it kinda annoying. Did you know that you can minimize someone's looong quote by clicking that top left circle button of the quote? Here is the flaw of this forum, by default the page will open all quotes and it's kinda annoying that you need to scroll far enough if you don't know that button. The reason why @John - NEXFER did that is might be because he use phone(which is painful to quote certain texts) or too lazy to bold/block certain texts and then use this quote buttons . Or.. else.. For now, if you guys use PC or can easily bold/block certain texts to quote, would be wise to just do that.. Well atleast I told you how to get rid that annoying "whole quote" thingy.

    Sorry I dont understand.. Did you get new barrier after you rename your character? If I remember correctly, I didn't get new barrier in 0.7..

    Hahaha, this is exactly like my 3rd base in 3rd map.. The fact is, this location is way more efficient than on land and if you choose correct spot you have "security dudes" below your base.. they can come in handy sometimes. And the best thing is your base is on top of your shipyard.. Ok back to OP's topic, since you play in official server, only developers who can reset your character. There are other way around, my friend @DK208 has same issue, eventually he stay on my floating base, because he doesn't have many choices. So you need to find trusted guy, or simply move to other server.

    I just wish we can combine or bind composition to existing ship. So we can simply make "controller" and put that composition to any ship without need to rebuild in order to attach the script. goodluck and welldone to your experiment and creation dude!

    I believe for NPC isn't possible yet until "Combat update" (CMIIW), for animal it's possible with aggressive animals, you just need to spawn it near the player.

    lol, that is what I did, 1 lever for each function(on and off) is enough.

    its actually really simple @SyxtySyx, since the ship/vehicle is bound to main body, you only need to put script for it. Take a look at @spyler.1989's composition for example. Or you can make the whole base body and I can make the script on it if you want to.

    it happen to me long time ago when I have computer on my ship(computer thingy should be fixed now, I guess). yeah there should be something that miss-click/drag entity. Backup the composition frequently is recommended.

    hahahaha.. this is really interesting experiment.. First thing first, I don't meant to compete with you or whatever, I'm just curious for long time ago. how strong it needs? I tried 3x the strength of the upward logic and the ship still falling or glitching when I put the engine/sail on. and also I think, ship that controlled by the helm will only move when floating on water. Since now I know that you can't combine the helm mechanism with script, I just did modification on my old experiment. But I have 1 problem, my ship instantly activate the forward script when I load to "Play mode", is there any chance you know what could cause it @spyler.1989? Here is my ship picture: Flying ship , its slightly different script mechanism from yours (added slow, fast, stop, lock script, and simplified the logics), I know that picture is kinda useless, since it just explain the surface.. Can I attach my ship composition in this thread?
