  1. Hello There! In short, what's good: At last we can explore more than 5 islands - superb - that is what we were waiting for! Thank you! In sort, what is wrong here: -I'm solo player, I do not like and do not wish to play multiplayer - So, please, let us customise our Exploring Game. Solo world - no Multi-Ylands. -Everything is going in good direction! Ylands Exploring in general problems: -In new Ylands even the best weapons crafted are much worse than items we can find. This is fun, but a bit annoying: I do not need to craft anything - I will be better if I explore more islands. That makes crafting zirconium weapons - useless (these are much worse than items we can find - especially fire weapons) - please, let us craft guns again and make zirconium weapons much stronger than simple steel items.. -NPCs and Sellers still are broken - you cannot buy many things, because "seller have to sell more to buy" - annoying and forces us to buy everything from NPC sellers, before we can buy anything - please, make NPC's inventory bigger... -There is no real enemies - this is ok with me, but I have found a bug: -At first I thought It's enought to find all Ylandium crystals from caves - that was reasonable, but there was no more enemies on the map. -Then I realised that maybe I can take all crystals but the Ylandium to allow mutated animals to appear - I was wrong. -Then I took all crystals and didn't kill any mutant animal - I was wrong again. -The hardest to kill mutant animals should leave you much loot - but it's not the case - mutant bears leave just two ylandium... -I hoped to build big ship, add animal pens... or big cages anf move animals I love to my base - no, it doesn't work. Why? Moving animals is a problem we discussed two years ago?? Maybe it would be nice to make it possible to span enemies (using devs console) and have some fun after we build big base? It would be nice if killed NPC's would leave us at least items they are using - for now we gain nothing for hard work in many cases. Enemies just die and disappear. My proposition is: -Let us choose if we want solo or multiplayer game. -Let us chooser how many enemy NPC's, sellers and animals are there - also - mutants every night. -Let us craft better weapons from Zirconium - found items are or superb or useless. -Please, return us the birds!!! It was so important! Now we can hear these, but cannot hunt them or just be happy to see them. I know the problem was collisions, but you just disabled collisions with all animals - so, you can bring us back birds! Birds are f... important for immersion and for life in Ylands.   2. Hi, I see no problem, I proposed it months ago just because I hoped you will use it and make the game better. I'd love to propose you whole game problems/game ideas/algorithms/graphics (for free), just to help you make game better. You don't have to ignore me - I never wanted anything - I've sent you many ideas and I can send you whole game algorithms to make Ylands great. As I mentioned it long time ago I can offer you ideas for free long time ago. All I can offer you do not need redoing anything in the game and I do not ask for any payment. If you find my ideas worth anything later - I'd be happy to talk about it, for now I offer you my work and ideas for free - because I like Ylands. I just don't want to write into empty night. I wrote it so many times (for 3 years or so), so I'm a bit annoyed. No one never responded to me, so, I feel stupid. You are clearly not interested, thought you used my ideas. I offer you my help. Including graphics - game luck graphics tools. I'm sure people from P1 would like to help you make this game fully open world and sandbox. I'm sure you were talking to everyone many times. Are you blocked from making certain games? You were so close to make open world, sand box - and multiplayer at the same time. Why you stopped everything??? All The Best, Bartosz
  3. It seems that sailing and ship building is very important part of Ylands. Also, people are asking why we cannot move monuments or boats home? Or transport these by sea. If we had something like crane, so we can list the boat or monument and move with ship...

Hi, 1) From a distance horses are walking like bears - on back legs. 2) Trees and shrubs from new eastern biom do not show their names. 3) Rise when "picked up" cannot be "broken into seeds", it can only be "destroyed". Butt if you select: "can be used in" you can choose "break into seeds". 4) Most small trees and shrubs give only 1 seed; this is especially annoying in Desert biom - "savanna long grass", gives only one seed - please, change it. Savanna grass is very pretty and looks good if you want to make your place nicer! Also savanna shrubs give only one seed. 5) Small trees, like banana tree usually give 1 log or log and broken wood. Please, add at least 2 sticks to even small trees. 5b) Also, please, make it possible to cut logs into let's say 5 sticks, with axe. It's much easier to make logs than sticks! 2 logs for 10 arrows it's a good price, I think. Sticks are really needed for bolts, arrows, fences, food, fire and just for models. Fire wood can be made from logs, why not allow sticks to be made the same way. 6) Please, add to Exploration two important options; "big or small stomach" (last time our heroes eat more than ever before, it's annoying for me just let us set how much our hero have to eat every day.) 6b) Please, let us choose how many mushrooms are growing every night (a few, normal, plenty) - It would be very helpful, especially because we cannot produce mushrooms - I hope it will be possible later? 7) Please, allow Oysters, Starfish and Sea Urchins to regrow over time - like eggs and mushrooms. 8 Oyster shells are useless for now - make them breakable into pigment. Later all seashells would be burned to make simple cement... You already have set of bricks, just make these different colour, different texture maybe. Burned, crushed seashells plus sand => cement or concrete. 9) Please, allow placing seeds as we can place bricks - one after another, with one click! 10) Please, make cave plants leaving seeds! I need more types of plants, but I don't want to "cheat" and use editor every time. 11) Please, make at least half of cave mushrooms edible! Also, some mushrooms could be poisoned and could be used in lethal baits for muted animals and enemies. Above all: Please - do not allow "pick up empty nest" with one mouse click! I'm loosing so many eggs, because by mistake I clicked twice! Please, if you want hay from nest, use any tool on it, as you do with piles of hay. There is no undo and I guess adding nest from editor will not make that nest working? All The Best, ComR
  5. Hello There, I'd like to shortly list minor and major problems with the Explore game. I'm playing for 1000 hours now, onoly singleplayer, only explore game. I justy don't like other modes: Major Problems: -Please, implement "pause" in singleplayer game (I'm constantly dying of starvation of killed by animals everytime I have to make tea or answer the phone - it's annoying). I understand it's a problem in multiplayer, but it's not a problem in singleplayer. -Special Hammer doesn't work anymore (maybe it works inside the barrier, but it was very useful to deconstruct found buildings and precisely remove annoying ground. Please, make "deconstruction hammer" working as before. As I play solo games only, I do not need barrier, but I have many structures on many islands, so it would be very nice to have it back. -During digging again fragments of dirt fly in the air... Before I could destroy it with any weapon or hammer - now it's impossible. Please, allow pickaxe or spade or hammer to select dirt above character also to be selected (If I look up, for example). -Chisel and knife cannot be put in Tool Box. Rest work ok (saw and hammer), except firestarters - they do not work if in the Tool Box. -"Vincinity" doesnt work if there is something under a plant or grave stone! if you die close to your structure, chests or beds many items just dissappear inside models or below these and I had to destroy everything to find my stuff... This happens very often - usually grave stone make many problems lying above objects and "vincinity" "cannot see" most of the items. Also "vincinity" has problems with objects below our character or above". -Traders have too small inventory and in most cases I cannot sell anything to them unless I buy as many things as I can from them - so, it's making trade almost useless. -I'm not sure if it was corrected in last patch, but after first trade about half transactions are "unsuccessful" (I tried many thing, thinking it can be price problem or amount - but nothing helped) - and I'm loosing items I wanted to sell and MPC looses items I wanted to buy. -sound of rebuilding fires (adding wood) is much, much too loud. Minor (but important, please, correct it - it's easy to "repair"): -Shrubs and Tall Grass leaves only one seed. This is problem, because long grass and shrubs are very nice models and could be nice addition to buildings esthetics. Please, make 3 seeds of each - as the rest. -Many new trees do not allow to gather resin. -Many new trees and most of the shrubs do not show "name" of the plant as all older do. -Animals and enemies are too fast, especially golems - but biggest problem is - golems and bears can jump and bit you, even if you are far away and in the air (jumping into water for example). Normally bear or any other animal cannot reach me if I'm 2-3 meters away, but if they jump - they can easily kill me from a distance. -Some mutant animals are glowing, but many don't - Mutant Hienas do not glow at all. Propositions: -When you click twice by mistake or or empty nest - nest is demolished instantly leaving only useless dry grass. Please, make nests as corns, sisal etc: one click to take fethers and eggs and if you want to destroy it - use axe, hammer or any weapon. That would make sens. Eggs are very important in the game... -Please, make sticks respawn from time to time when close to trees. Also, shrubs, withered trees and bushes, berry bushes should leave at last 3 sticks by default. Later in the game lack of sticks is a problem. -Please consider mushrooms regrowing in vincinity of certain trees, so we could farm these a bit more. It would be nice if we could make "mushroom seeds" from 1 mushroom + lets say; 3 hay and maybe dirt or clay (water if it will be implemented in game later)? -If respawning of oysters and starfish is too hard to do, please consider adding fish traps (made of sticks and rope) and oyster traps/farms (made of ropes and something) to the game. -You can make fishing much more interesting by adding some more different fish to catch and from time to time old boot, chain, rags or more useful things like golden key, pistol etc... -Please, consider respawing of starfish, oysters and the spiky things.. ;) -Please, make default-starting island optional - with only 7-8 islands this one map makes big difference. -New building method allows to move block up and down (let say Y axis), but not X and Z axis anymore (or I'm doing something wrong). It's very hard to fit bloks accuratly. -Please... make running a bit faster at the start of the gsame it's ok, but when you start to build something it's game-breaking. The same problem is with swimming and breath - it would be nice to have 50% more oxygen... -Please, add again glowing mushrooms to some caves. And small rant: -Please, add birds to the game - it make big difference adding so much live to the game and making game more immersive. -Please, make water flowing again and allow digging under water. It would be nice to be able to transport water in buckets and drop it as you can do it with soil... -Monsters spawning from nowhere are annoying... If I turn around usually I can see monster showing up. Maybe you could make X monsters at night leaving caves or emerging from water, but if I kill them all I shouldn't meet more of these... BTW...   6. Hi, And here we are... three years after I was fan of your game from the start, even before you were born - Bohemia Interactive was enought for me. The day I saw Ylands for the first time, Made my day.. days, months, years?? Simple mechanics, simple story, simple graphics - everything to make game bigger, to make game epic - Whole World or Whole Worlds even! It was dark and soooo deep: like Crusoe story from stone age to magic realm of unknown? Open World Game with survival elements, from stone age to... Crusoe (back then nothing was known) later to sci-fi world of electricity and sci-fi - underwater world, and above all underground world: Ghostst, magic and skeletons of dinosaurs... Ok, let's, skip it. Ylands from months to month was smaller and smaller, content was cut of every month (in short): -1st story (I was able to see) was very enjoyable Crusoe story and Treasure Island in one, with ghosts story planned in the future? You could hunt animals (but you didn't have to) and collect meat, bones and leather. You could collect bones, skins and... dinosaur bones... So, I hoped It will be pivited part of the story. And... I hoped you didn't have to kill any animal - and yes, it was optional. I do not want any refunds. I offered you few times my work for free - from graphics to algorithms. I'm sure you have better artists and coders, so... why you ... I don't care... You know, 3 years later I see latest compilation... For F...CK SAKE! You are selling Ylands in 2020 still with 6-8 small Islands as a separate game addition; ... Damn, I'm sorry, but I feel cheated and not only me... Or maybe I'm just an idiot? I deleted most of the letter - after all it's my poor understanding of your work. Yes, I believe you can do everything. I mean it. Tell me, why you left us just like that? 3 years from your work published and... you not only did nothing more - you removed all Birds (except oysters) , and later Sharks... You killed the franchise.   7. Dear Devs, 1) Please, let us destroy dirt and earth with hammers and weapons again. Many times, after digging, there are left-overs flying in the air and nothing can remove it. Earlier I was using war axe or better - spear (and FPP view) - to precisely hit floating item and destroy it. Not it's impossible... Additionally - we have no "blend" or "round" tool to terraform small parts of our work (if you don't want to use terraformer I mean). We have only shovel and spade. To make round slopes I used sabre or axe - now it's impossible. Please - make it possible again and make new tool - broom, so we could round or make slight slopes by removing small amounts of dirt. So: 2) Please - make new tool - broom, so we could round dirt or make slight slopes by removing small amounts of dirt. 3) Vicinity problem - it's was great idea and usually works well, but it doesn't work properly in these two situations at least: If something is even slightly below something, for example stick below leaf of fern - vicinity "cannot see" the stick. I tried it many times and experimented with it. Also if something fell below furniture for example - I can stand on it, I fan touch it with my feet, but I cannot pick it up, also "vicinity cannot see the item". This is very annoying. Please, make vicinity range a bit bigger and try to find out why items below other items cannot be seen, thought I can see it. 4) We should be able to hold gold coins and diamonds in our gold pouches... 5) Please, make barrels bigger... I mean - more slots in them - 12. Barrels and much bigger and costs much more... 6) It would be great to have smaller chests to fit small places and have a bit more variations of furniture. Maybe wicket baskets, but in box shape? 7) Please, make it possible to make planks with any axes too. Saw should be needed only for more complicated items. 8 ) Please, make it possible to make nails if you have hammer, anvil and iron bar. Nails always were simplest things made by humans - even without furnaces. 9) Please, make it possible to make barrels, seed boxes and dirt boxes only with planks and maybe ropes (barrels were made and still are made without any nails). It should be possible to make simple barrels (in fact barrels are made without any nails - as I wrote above), chests, ladders and doors without blacksmith. Furnace and anvil should be more than enough. Additionally anvil would be of any use! You should be able to make some items with hammer, anvil and iron only. Blacksmith and more complicated, iron tools shouldn't be needed to make simple things like seed box, dirt box, simple chest or barrel. I know why you did it, but still it's annoying - colour of ores! You should use correct colours, especially because you want children to play Ylands. A bit of education would be nice, especially if you have text tip on every bit of ore anyway. So: Iron ore should be red or red-brown (and you could make red die from it too - a bit of history again) Copper ore should be bright green. Only golden ore should be golden.. but, oh, wait? Is there such thing as gold ore? Maybe it should be dirt with shiny, yellowish bits in it? This is not hard to do, why not to make colours right? BTW. Savanna shrub gives only one seed - please change it. BTW2. Could you make desert long grass (yellow one), long grass (green long grass) and "normal" gras different seeds (it gives normal grass seeds, as well as long grass), so we could plant it anywhere we want, please? And regarding mushrooms... I love mushrooms... I know it's not particularly realistic, but maybe in the future you would consider extracting mycelium from mushrooms, so we could plant mushrooms as well? You know, I have to transport tons of mushrooms from island far far away... Salt from sea water and dig from mountains and pepper and chili plants would be great too! Do you plan in the future to allow to make different dishes from different mixes of ingredients? And one important thing yet... When we make "rousted fruits" in fireplace or stove, all fruits and berries are treated as fruits, so you don't know what fruit you are using... This is important to make different options, like it is in furnace, when melting gold, for example. Some berries like Acai berries or Prickly Pears are medicines very important in game. It would be nice if we could see what we are throwing into fire.   8. Hi, What are you doing? I can understand that you need more time to get rid of bugs and luck of content, but selling the game as it is now it's unfair, don't you think? It's not a big deal for me, I really like Ylands and I'm here almost from the start, but imagine new players, who buy "officially 1.1 version" and... there is no birds anymore, there is no sharks or fish of any kind, water is not working anymore, trading with npcs is broken again and fighting strange creatures also doesn't seem right. Not only that - whole world seems to be smaller than ever and from 5-7 islands we've got, one is "starting island" - empty, always the same and really not needed. I'm talking about solo, adventure mode of the game, of course. Why not to state clearly that solo mode game is in alfa, if you are going to do something with it at all? New people will try or see this on YT and abandon the game for good. Why you do this? You are adding new content again and again, but mostly only, let's face it, skins. Last time you added some very nice new recipes, few animals and plants, but content isn't so important if game itself doesn't work... I understand that you are listen to multiplayer community mostly, it's ok, but it would be good for all of us if you could fix most important issues first? I hope that at least you will say that you are working at water, birds, fish and bigger worlds... and that you haven't abandoned modding and "model making for all" ideas? I'm sorry, but I'm just sad. It's very frustrating when I see that in fact people gave up and only people from multiplayer community still patiently playing bricks and wish for water. I'd love to write for once something great about Ylands, but you seem to be not interested in returning content or fix engine flaws. All The Best, ComR
  9. Hi, Sun and Moon are back, night looks wonderful! Now I can do something useful at night. Also, new biom is really very pretty and tea is what I needed! Maybe tea would make us faster in crafting for a change? It would be nice. At last katana is back!! I'm playing adventure mode, as always I'd like to help you finding few bugs: There are still big problems with trading: -NPCs in many cases never show up. -When they show up, after one trade they leave and never return. There is no usual sign "I will be back..." also. -NPCs still start menu with bundles opened first. -After first succesful deal, next deal is always broken: choosing 4 first items for sale is ok, but 5th always "freak out" and you cannot change amount and eventually NPC doesn't respond to another try. -Fighting combos need a bit of fixing in my opinion. Many times, when fighting I'm accidentally destroying half of dropped items, because combos do not stop, just chop again and again. Maybe you could somehow set dropped items, like hide, pelts and meet to be indestructible during the fight? Or set some king of cooldown timer, so items can be destroyed after few seconds after being spawned? Right now in many cases I tend to kill aggressive animal and destroy hide and meet.   10. Hello, I hoped to see my sun back... Well... after last update only one thing was changed - graphics from low poly to very bad poly (in my opinion). Game looks very bad, but... one thing is back - crashes to desktop. I have enough. I was with you for very long time - you never listened to solo-players, but most irritating bugs were removed. Now it's "new, great upgrade", "one before 1.0!". And game crashes after 3-5 minutes. Details? I'm sorry, I was sending those for maaaaany months... - never responded. I wish you all the best. Game is different, in my humble opinion - ugly. Unplayable, because again I cannot play the game at all. You want to make it 1.0 and sell it? Think again... It's not adventure, survival game anymore. It's not low poly world anymore. Comparing to other games.... you lost something? Why? It was great game... Do not release game at this state - you will be ruined. Many people stilll plays games alone. I guess most of the people. Where is adventure game? There is no NPC's at all.. I wish you luck. I cannot see what will you do next, because my system is again too bad for low poly game... I can play GTAV or Conan Exiles, but not Ylands. Pity, ComR

  16. Yup. I guess something was changed in field of view - distance of view and by mistake skies, sun and moon are too far to see for my old system... Well, sun, moon and skies should't be too far to see...

  18. Dear Devs, Last time I was a bit angry and my listing of bugs ended in battle where everyone tried to kill me. So, I'm listing the bugs once again, but this time with better descriptions, I hope: 1) There is no sun anymore. I tried many setting thinking it's my system problem, but - it's not my system problem. There is no sun and it's sad and misleading, because I don't know what time is it and where is East and West... Yes, I can open dev's tab, but it's sad anyway. 2) Birds showing paths between islands are invisible anymore. I can see these only if they are just above my island (and even in this case it's very rare situation), sometimes I can see one pixel far, far away for a few seconds. I guess the birds are visible only when they are just above an island? I'm not sure yet. 3) Trading with NPCs is broken now: a) Half of transactions ends with "failed" and you both loose everything, except gold... If I sell fur for gold, for example, even with "failed" error, I'm receiving my gold and lost my fur, NPC lost the gold, but not receive fur. It would be okey, but if I'm buying something for gold - we both are loosing gold, but receiving nothing. Worst scenario is when I'm trying to trade goods for goods - if "failed" error appear we both loose everything. b) New UI shows much less "trade slots", please, make more slots, as before, because now I cannot buy expensive thing by trade... Even the most expensive items I have to sell somehow (usually trader has too less money) and by needed items for gold... loosing time and resources. With more slots I could just trade 12 armours for example for something I needed. Now we all are forced to use gold or sell anything everyday to collect enough gold... 4) New model bounding have unexpected problems... Most special sites (buildings, sheds, ruins) cannot be rebuilt with "magic hammer" bit by bit anymore. Also items lying around in same cases "are not there". So, to destry these, I have to use strong weapon and destroy half of the house by accident. Before upgrade I could just destroy items, blocks, logs I don't need and use the rest for my purposes... Is there any way to change "model merging" beside editing? Do I have to edit game to remove "not existing" items? 5) New AI for animals not changed much - they are spawned in strange places and for some reason some of them always go to "trap" places like caves or ditches (even not in the ditch, some animals are stuck on the edges). also, after few hours of play most animals are broken and are "moonwalking". 6) Animals are still very often spawned on trees or in the trees or rocks. 7) Many objects fall "into the earth". In most cases it happens if I kill an animal on steep slope - meat and hide just "fall into the earth", it cannot be dig out. 7b) Dig items, like pistols in coffins, coins, chests with gold, hats and sometimes whole coffins fall into the earth, even after one try with a shovel. I tried to be cunning and dig out big hole (some king of dungeon) beneath the coffin and treasure chest, but pistol and chest fell into the earth anyway... 7c) Sometimes when I dig holes or jump onto a plant (sisal agave to be exact) I still fall into the earth and die - fortunately I do not loose my inventory... 8.) New camera do not work properly when I'm swimming, trying to collect anything. I see nothing, except flashing light blue voxels. 9) Thanks to new update out hero do not destroy planted plant... ("planted plant" - "butterly butter") or cut tree after extracting resin or latex, but... combo sometimes happens not needed... So, In many cases I kill attacking wolf and my hero destroys so much needed hide or mead attacking empty air... 10) New battle system often works "strange". Usually one click makes my hero hitting once and sliding forward - straight into claws of beasts. Why? Second problem is strange "combo". This "combo" hits everything. Result is - sometimes I'm killing the beast and destroy meat and hide... 11) Please, let us destroy dirt and earth with hammers and weapons again. Blckmith and more complicated, iron tools shouldn't be needed to make simple things like seed box, dirt box, simple chest or barrel. Maybe I'm not everyone here, but it would be X) I guess you already know that new terrain generator is much less realistic than last one - it's producing very small islands (yes, I play Ylands almost non-stop and already tried many, many games to see if it's not a bad luck of mine. There is no sharp mountains anymore - only small hills, there is mostly flat, empty lands, there is no jungles or dense forests anymore. There are two reasons for it: all plants are placed in "bundles", not scattered in larger areas - mixed (probably you can change settings to fix it - I hope). Please, make hot fix and: a) Please, give us birds back... especially these showing paths to islands... Exploring game is practically unplayable now... I have to look for islands blind - sailing, literally, for hours. b) Give us sun back! c) And if it's possible, make the water flow again...
