@Adam Snellgrove is water combat with sharks being looked at? Historically, you can't even punch them. All you can do is die. Then spend hours getting your stuff back.

I miss the navigation birds.

It's not cool to have a part of the game where you can be attacked but not defend. Sharks need to be addressed in this aspect before returning them to the game. There needs to be a harpoon or something you can attack them in the water. If I can be attacked on horseback without being able to defend, I will probably stop using horses again.

Full time first person does exist. It is unsupported, so if you have problems with it, don't bother reporting. I think the command is /fpscam enable. To turn it off /fpscam disable. I think it's listed under /cmdlist. @Adam Snellgrove maybe it's time for a FAQ sticky topic?

Let's be honest here, the old dedicated servers didn't work that well. That's why @Baz Foobar stopped hosting. And why I started. I was happy just playing on a server. Foobar tapoed out so I moved over to P1 and did admin there for almost two years. Now I host my own locally and on BI. I will likely have a Nitrado server also when they come online.

I have an active barrier as a composition in my editor files. I pull games (this works on exploration games and sandbox.) I put down the barrier anywhere I want protected. It doesn't "belong" to anyone in game but it works to protect areas you want protected. The other way I do this is give myself multiple barriers, so I can place them in game, if I want to be able to turn them on or off. All of this assumes you have the game files, but why else would you be worrying about the span areas. Easiest fix is to password the game and only play with trusted people. @Igor Q. can probably answer the NPC question.

One of the games I play has a feature called Time Capsule. You can go back and play earlier versions. Could this be a thing? Even if unsupported?

Stranded on island shows seldom make sense. It's funny to me to see the tropes in the game, but not the obvious missing ones. Did the devs really never see Gilligan's Island? Obvious missing items: hammocks, coconut cream pie, tied shirts, short shorts, bucket hat, red striped long sleeved shirt, and sequin dresses. It was never made clear why Ginger took her red carpet gowns on a three hour tour.

If there is a backlog, it prompts the question: Have they found a fix for the problem? It seems like the linking thing has been an issue since forever. Ane had to get it fixed for me a long time ago. Also, any insight as to why he can't see the games in MP lobby? @Adam Snellgrove @Houp @Aleš Ulm

you do have access to it. It is unsupported aka don't complain if it doesn't work like you want. /fpscam enable I think is the command. there might not be a space

I tried twice to buy coyns to resubscribe to my server. First, I don't have the option to extend my current server. Fine, it's almost expired anyway, so I try to just rent a new server. The purchase failed twice. I don't know. I guess you guys aren't really serious about the MP servers in any form.

Maybe that's why my BI server has been so stable. It hadn't been improved yet. Sigh.

I finally got the coyn purchase to go through. But I didn't have the option to extend my current server. I could only rent a new one.

He was streaming last night and the multiplayer lobby does not populate ate all. The only thing I could see that might be different is that he hadn't linked his account. So fingers crossed he tried that, and lost everything. And he still couldn't get the MP lobby to load.. He says he has reinstalled the game and checked file integrity.

I found a bit of weirdness. If you place a candle and make it unpickable, when it's lit it is pickable. If you place a lit candle and make it unpickable, it is pickable as soon as the flame goes out. I assume this is because "candle" and "lighted candle" are two different items in the editor. Either way, you can't have unpickable candles.
