Can I play a locally created game I have made in editor?
bojo2736 replied to Isaiah53six's topic in Editor Help
Make a sandbox inside editor, when you are done with the scenario and are ready to play, (don't forget to save) hit enter then type /exportlocal. Then go to all games, use the tabs to sort for your local games, then click on the game you want. It will open and you can create a game from the scenario. After you have played it, and you want to get back in to play at a later date, you will find it in recent games. -

You have to do the /exportlocal then go to your local games and create a new game. Then you can play it. You can also make it multiplayer and invite friends and play locally. -
Ah the good ol' low poly days... Now the avatars look like children.

So, example. I was on a world generated by someone else. I liked it, so I checked the seed. It was a sandbox world, so regeneration wasn't a problem. It wasn't my file but I can make it in sandbox now. I would love this option in exploration.

Does it work? I built much less onto the catamaran and that thing is a beast to sail. Forget about turning. ETA: I just noticed you have boxes for planting. Have you actually planted them? It used to sink a ship if you planted things on it. Has this been fixed?

A bandaid for a hemmorhage. We need a more stable game.

The biggest problem with "the grind" in this case is the dearth of resources.

Build a small boat, it's all you need.

What kind of game did you make? I haven't messed around with this stuuf since release, but my guess is that you used an exploration type, and it is not available to mobile.

Yes, that is what I called a lab

I have found the underwater lab.

Check for seaweed etc in the water

Unless something has changed, you can delete table but not the ghost. In that case, I would jump in with a cube, finish the construction, then pull it into editor to delete. One of my other games identifies who built a structure. It would be great if Ylands had this. Even if just as an admin function. We need more in game admin tools to deal with trolls.

No but you can built a pylon out in the deeper water and place the barrier there. You will probly need a propeller pack to reach what you need to. I have not blueprinted a ship yet. But from what I have heard, it needs to be in open construction mode.

Nitrado never gets back to me either, so there is that.

I know many of us found Ylands from watching Keralis in his original play through. The devs invited him to revisit the game and sponsored the video. I watched with a smile the whole time. If you haven't watched his first series, I recommend it. Get out your hankies, you are gonna have the feels...

There is now a stove in the game that looks like a modern kitchen stove. It is craftable, I think. And it uses the usual combustibles to operate.

Map does not work in sandbox. -
Can you get the Mythical sword in exploration mode?
bojo2736 replied to lojoey's topic in General Discussion
I haven't seen it. There are new randomly generated raider camps etc in exploration these days. You may find it there. I found an ice sword. Randomly, it seems like you can't craft the war hammer on the forge anymore. I did find one in the abandoned viking camp thingy. You can put most anything in the game if you want to pull the map into editor. -
Caves used to be challenging. Now, meh.

Can my buddy build within my barrier?
bojo2736 replied to Mr. Maverrick's topic in General Discussion
If you have access to the file, you can move the barrier in editor. There is no way to move it in game. -
I'm pretty sure I hard him say he was going to start a new series and probably use a new map. He spent a good deal of time going over his old build because it is still cool. He also spent a good deal of time showcasing the editor and build stuff because it was a sponsored video and he was probably hitting the points he was asked to. That doesn't mean his opinion was purchased. I have never felt that Keralis would say what he didn't mean because he was being paid. The truth is, Keralis makes videos his followers want to see. If he gets likes, he makes videos. Why you people gots to rain on my parade? Debbie downers

Did you watch it? It sounded to me like he was going to do another series.

Small Shed blueprint

You can make hay. Plant sisel, break it to grass, put stacks of grass near fire source. Lather, rinse, repeat.- 2 replies
