Oh, and gear for horses. Saddles, bridles, wagons to pull, and skins to buy in the coyn store to make them unicorns, pegasus, dragons, gryphons. You get the idea.

We need triangle windows, large and small. Really all the block shapes. A hammock. I mean, come on. Translucent ice blocks in all the shapes and sizes of the other blocks. We need a way to harden and make things unpickable under our own barrier in exploration. Animals. In no particular order Cows, calves, donkeys, llama, chickens and rooster. Clutter and knickknacks. Maybe a few paddywacks. And dogs. And cats. Tameable bunnies. But if I could only have one thing: non persistent avatars.

We need scalable and paintable shapes. I see people strugglinng to build things that don't exist with other things. Example, remember the stereo console @Igor Q.made? Or pretty much anything @Spyler.X makes. If we had basic shapes that were scalable for both size and thickness it would open up a world of options. By having them built into the editor by the ylands artist, they could match the basic asthetic. And could we get "transparent" as an option in painting?

It also seems to replace E in game play. Call your horse? Free place? Emotes? All in Q now. -
I assume it has been disabled because the new map system us coming. But in case you don't know. In the sandbox environment the map doesnt work. You can't open it.

I have played the beta for a few hours now. If this is a fair representation of full release, you can do a lot in the free version. Obviously I can't speak for anything exploration related. But for those of you worried about not being able to play with friends without renting a server, you can still self host. And the player limit right now is 10. I was able to make a sandbox map in editor, throw in a few scripted things, then /exportlocal. Make the game saveable when you are in editor. Make a multiplayer game and it works just fine. And without any noticeable performance hit on my computer. I had four of us playing and no problems. Well, except for BeeOne. He is always a problem.

Too much bait and switch. Too much non support. I will check it out on full release. I'm done playing in this particular sandbox.

With the explanation of what the intention of the beta was, I reinstalled. Since I have no interest in the provided games, I hopped into editor and did the only real thing I do in there, and made a map. Back to one biome at at time. Ok. I picked arid because it is always my favorite. Holy cow. The jaggedy mountains I love so much are back.

Maps dying after hours of play is a real problem. And from what I hear, is not only still happening, it's getting worse.

Pretty much anything would be an improvement. Things in MP servers are pretty dire. And by not supporting dedicated servers you have pretty much solved YOUR priblem, not ours. Real talk here @Aleš Ulm many of us here love this game and we are seeing it die with every "improvement." All the cool features in the world wilk not save a game that is unplayable. I hope I'm wrong.

@Ryk_the_Wizard as I read it, private servers will be supported only with nitrado or the BI rented servers. Nitrado has it's own issues, but as admin you can switch up and play other games. We are currently using one for our Outlaws of the old west game. The BI servers are functionally better at handling Ylands, but it has severe lack of admin options. And you can only run Ylands on it. As things stand, both are reasonably priced, I can get numbers later. On my phone now. But I guess the prices could change. And sharegames will still exist. Though, in my limited experience with them, they don't really work as advertised. At least the free ones. Before I would pay anything to expand as sharegame, I would just rent a BI server.

So for the brief time I was in the environment, there was nothing to do there other than the little games. I don't play those now. I don't generally use editor. What is it we are supposed to be testing? @Aleš Ulm we need more admin controls in the rented BI servers. We need to be able to have more than one person have access to the server for restarts, uploading files etc. And in regards to Nitrado being the other supported server option, am I the only one wondering what kind of kickback certain members here are getting from BI and/or Nitrado?

Issue number 1. I could not log in as me. Issue number 3 I could not log out as guest. I hope the full release goes better. And now I know why y'all were never keen to fix dedicated servers. I guess I will check in at full release to see if I even still like this game. Peace out homies.
