I think you will find they either don't work at all or not like you think they will.

If you had it in early access, you should not have to pay for the exploration DLC. But, yeah, the islands are too small, too few and ships are pointless now.

I realize we hit full release and the holidays all at the same time. But I am trying to plan here. Is Nitrado going to be a viable alternative? Can someone tell us what the hold up is? I could run the game on Nitrado until Beta dropped. Now I can't. I paid for a month with the promise that it was coming "soon." What is really happening? I can use BI. The problem being 1) it is more expensive 2) I have less control 3) I can't share admin access 4) I don't like being forced into a single option. I am trying to build a community here guys. Difficult when access becomes limited. Please kick Nitrado in the nuggets or find a company who will work with you.

We each have our own build style, I guess. The premade slabs are very limiting in my experience. And there are never the right piece you are looking for. No snapping to the world grid is a total PITA, and smooshing things together really isn't a thing. Ylands has a different building mechanic. And as clunky as it is sometimes, it is still the best builder out their IMO. And I constantly look for good builders. But Paralives may have them beat. I have high hopes.

You put the ship into and out of construction mode through the helm wheel. Use Q. Hammers only deconstruct blocks and only under your active barrier.

@TomasGestinger @Adam Snellgrove can we get a definitive answer on the ice blocks. We have so few lighting option, ant two of my favorites have been taken away. The othe being the glow mushrooms. Current state of the game allows for no subtle ambient lighting. I use light as a design element. Or I would if I had it.

Ice blocks used to be clear and shiny. I used them a lot to create lovely ambient lighting. Now they are opaque, and they don't allow the light to glow through them as other blocks do. There are very few ways to build with light in this game. You took away one of the main ones for me. Thank you.

this is the only file i have left that I created since the update when the error started 1.2UPDATE.zip

It doesn't seem to be attached to any file at all. I get it in all screens, in game, in the menu and in the editor. As I said, I have checked file integrity, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and rebooted my computer. It started when I had a composition that I was trying to pull a piece out of.

I think they said it was not designed to be MMP. And as @RedEagle_P1. said, it's not ready for that. It will break your heart if you try. Trust me.
