Adding dirt causes falling through world

I'd dug myself into a very deep hole mining iron, so I decided to backfill it with dirt underneath myself to lift me towards the surface...... and fell through the world.  First and only death so far, and it's a technical glitch.  ?

Hope  you didnt land in a  cavern  down there  surrounded by  the  Devs.... they were the   ones  with  red complexion  and  horns 

Yes...  back-filling  wit  dirt is a clever way to get out of a  hole...but  as you found out ..if  you are not  careful or  unlucky,  you  can meet a  very  dirty  end!

Actually, the game said I froze into an ice cube.  I guess the center of Ylands is frozen rather than molten.  Who knew?

If you are falling  type /unstuck 1  it should pull you to safety.

I have the same problem. Also, I fell into the earth much often than before... At least - I feel like that.
