Damage of cannons seems unreliable

When a cannon shoots at a target I get numbers from 2200 to 999,000 in damage. Is there a set damage its suppose to have?

If you set damage multiier to 0.001 the cannon will damage from 1 - 6 o think. Would cool if we could just set damage to 1 hit point or 2 or 3...

So there is a difference in damage depending on how far you are from your target, but it is not such a huge divergence. But since you can load pretty much anything into a cannon, that could have a bigger impact, because a cannonball will be more destructive than blueberries ?

But that is why you can't set minimal and max damage in the editor to cannons, because it depends on what the player puts into it. 

But still doesn't answer the huge difference. If it happens again, would you please post it with the out logs and I'll see what we can find out.
