Editor sometimes doesnt respond to keys/mouse

So I've  encountered this issue recently where one minute the editor is working fine, the next (whether its testing a game or exiting one) the editor for some reason stops responding to keyboard/mouse inputs. This includes everything from trying to click logics with the mouse to moving around with WSAD. Any input from others?

[UPDATE] Upon further examination, this appears to occur because of custom windows. If you have a custom window open in the game, and exit back to the editor BEFORE CLOSING the custom window, the editor no longer responds to your keyboard/mouse.

Fortunately this will be automatically fixed in 1.5 because you will no longer be able to press ESC from a custom window (to go back to editor without closing it first) but this sounds like a pain in the meantime ?. I didn't experience this, but maybe it is lag from a busy map combined with not closing it or something ?
