I made a padlock. Can I lock the doors to my house?

I figured out how to lock the anchor lever on my boat but I don't know how to lock the doors of my house or any other door.

Doors can be locked with any blank key or rusty key.

Does this then mean that anyone with a key could unlock my door?

when you lock the door, the key will automatically set its own id, and the door can then only be unlocked by this key.

Then you wouldn't be able to unlock it again. I recommend having a key ring and never taking it out of your inventory.

you would have to drop the key on purpose. you dont lose keys on death. you can make a copy for friends if you want to
