Hello guys,

The hand torch as much as i go near the coast, makes a white blur that doesnt let me see arround. When im going on higher places, it becomes really clear. That thing doesnt exists if you stay near a standing torch whish is clear in all heights

Fog was reworked few years ago, it should be fine nowadays.

Could you eventually post a screenshot of this? I think it has to do with the fog we just implemented last week.

Yes, that's definitely the new fog  Not sure it should be that thick near the water, we'll take a look at it, thanks!

That's the new fog system  

 

And agree it is a bit thick, did do some testing: with torch the fog works, and I think it is set to altitude x to fog, wenn I get on a hill the fog is gone(looking down to the beach and you see the fog on the beach) and wenn I go lower (even in caves) the fog works (even at the bottom of the cave way below sea level).

The fog does not show with other light sources (lanterns, blue crystal) on with "fire based" source, checking out the flashlight wenn I have a chance soon.

Next is in the cave (way below sea level and deep inside, were fog actually would not be) First 1 with a lantern the 2nd pic is with a torch, same location/time but the lantern does not have the fog effect (yet).
