Iv been trying to find the recipe for the alien cutter. IV exhausted all poi in the polar region and have yet to be able to craft one. IV also had all the ingredients in my inventory to no avail. Where do I find this Alien Cutter key?

The API supports them well enough, but you block any request with an old version regardless. However there is a workaround that makes all these versions functioning again: #StopKillingGames -

What will happen next? Why has Bohemia not made a public statement, beyond telling us support will no longer be available? I have spent more than 11000 hours in this place. i built many things, worlds even. It would be nice to be able to share this with my grandkids one day, and to see the people behind this game make a decision. So people would know what will become of all this. I think we should at least have the option to play solo or use our own servers, or be able to rent servers ourselves to continue to play. We can share our builds on discord should the game become solo only. i hope you will find a reasonable solution, Bohemia. So we can remember your games fondly..

Cannot connect do Destination host fatal login error.

two weeks ago, I wanted to play ylands, and when I logged in, I got the Fatal LOGIN error, Cannot connect to destination host. This error has been preventing me from playing for the past two weeks, I've tried reinstalling, clearing the cache, and so on. But nothing helped -

If the ping is too high, it can indeed cause erratic movements. However, if the server has a low ping and the problem persists, then this is probably not the root cause.

Thanks ive found 20 sea encounter s in a quarter of a very large yland

I don't know for certain so take this with a grain of salt, but I think it's more dependant on the map size and how big the islands are. Larger maps and islands will naturally be more likely to have more encounters due to having more available space. From my own experience playing this game for a very long time, I have found large maps which have every possible sea encounter for that region. I'm not sure if it is possible for every region since some have a lot more encounters than others, for example tropical has almost 80 land + sea encounters while polar has less than 40.

I want to know if there is a random encounter cap on how many can spawn and if there is there's a max on sea encounter in a single yland

I know alout of people like the pc graphics better and the ultra setting my tablet can handle as well as most newer devices or older high end can handle i want to suggest it be that you can choose ultra high on mobile

Elephant grass is the very tall grass plant found on tropical islands, make sure to travel to freshly generated maps as I don't think it can be found on the tutorial or story map Elmwoods Outpost. You have to whack it with an axe or sword to chop it down.

Sometimes they take a while to load but recently there was issues after a cyber attack on the servers so perhaps this issue could be a result of that. Best thing to do is use the in-game feedback option to send a bug report to the devs, it automatically attaches your logs with everything they need to help fix the issue.

For some reason while blueprints are perfectly visible in the ingame store, there's no access to them either from Adventure or Editor. Both modes show empty blueprint folder, while there are actually plenty of blueprints, and some were spawned ingame before, both while 2.3 and 2.4. Happens both to new blueprints and existing ones.

Check your savegame folder for Steam and see if they are still there. The location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\ <steamid> \298610\remote\SaveGames Also, now that you can get into the game, send the developers a bug report via the in-game feedback option in the pause menu or from the settings menu. They will be able to help you better with your log files.

no..but i logged in Microsoft store version of the game..but i couldn't get into starting ylands on that version too..

Since you can't get to the main menu to submit a bug report the best thing for you to do is join the Official Ylands Discord and post a bug report and attach your logs there. Make sure to include your Steam and in-game user name so the devs know which accounts should be linked. The filepath for the output_log_clean.txt file is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ylands\Ylands_Data
