One of the things I'm wearing on the picture, either the helmet or the boots (they're from the same collection). They look a little bit like some superhero armor.

Thoughts on sailing,while sailing

I'm not sure about it but try Desert Sage. -
It can be misleading for some players but this is used for more items in the game. There are more items that are named as another thing that you can actually pick up. The (2) means that you will get two items from it (two feathers, two eggs or two pieces for hay). But you are right in that maybe eggs and feathers shouldn't be titled as a part of "Bird Nest".

Look for it more! There should definitely be something... But I'm not 100% sure if some items are "broken" when you open the container by the force. I found some really good armor in it so it would be unlucky if it's broken. But my guess is that it just fell to the ground or even through something.

Those "conifer + spruce" Ylands are full of mountains so maybe the coal is really just in big heights. If devs are not tired of our conversation all about a coal and they're reading it all, here's a little suggestion: Lower the height needed for coal appearing. I don't see any reason why should coal be that much rare.

I think only Charcoal is needed for Gunpowder.

I'm watching your new series and I'm sure you will be able to locate some coal. To summarize what I know about coal: A really black vein Located mostly on hills Only Looks like just mostly (because of the screenshot by Aethelis) at the "conifers + birch" Ylands (never recently found it anywhere else) There shouldn't be any bug with it, I found a new vein yesterday on a world generated after the 0.3 update PS: What is Coal even needed for? Anything more than the Steel blocks?

I just kind of don't feel like resurrection should be a thing in the game. Even now it's nice enough to allow us picking up all the dropped items and leaving us our "memory" (not learning everything again, like it once used to be).

Why? Coal is sure there somewhere...

It isn't a dumb question at all. I was asking that to myself too not so long ago. You can make a potion for breathing underwater at the Alchemy Table. And if you mean the same "compound" as I discovered a few days ago, you will also find some things to help you diving in there. You can see it here if you want

Great suggestion Gracekain! (It's something like in Medieval Engineers, isn't it? I watched a little of your loong video) With something like this it would be really great time to add customizable flags. But I'm not absolutely sure with the "ownership radius" and "town name". What if we, for example, hid our totem in a cave so nobody could find it and set traps around it (or loot items for our new start) so it wouldn't actually be in our home? Everybody would be getting the message about stepping on our property when actually just passing around some cave.

You can already place a chest on boat yourself. Even on the small boat. So why to have another built in?

You should be able to run around it quick. It doesn't kill me instantly, just really fast.

Nice!

They do exist. Gold is in normal veins, but (correct me if I'm wrong) Diamonds can be found only as a "digging loot" same as for example Rusty Cans or Dinosaur Skulls.

I believe there is planned some improvement in navigation, including better maps and compass. We just must be patient.

Is there any official opinion on supernatural things in the Ylands? I know that we have alchemy (I hope to have even more advanced alchemy sometime in the future ) and Ylandium, but what about other similar features? Magic, spells, portals, curses, ..? Is this one of the ways you are going, or is Ylands going to be more "realistic" in this? To be honest, I like both options but I was just recently thinking about it. Well, of course there is always that option not to choose any of those two and leave it opened for future, so I'm just interested in that if you discussed this already.

I have just finished reading the sneak peak (improved farming? yay!) and I get it - you have a lot of work. So plans for more magic do exist, that's nice. Thanks for you answer.

Or feathers

That you should look deeper.

That was an issue? I actually like that. There's always the one, I know

I recently managed to find a backup of my favorite Yland so far. I thought it's forever gone but I recovered most of it. It used to be my main Explore Yland but then the caves appeared on newly generated worlds and I had to leave this one. It's not the same Ylands experience without the caves. But let me show you hours of play transformed into this cozy place. This used to be my first "dump" of things that I didn't need in my inventory. First blocks ever placed in this world. Be sure to also check those skulls! The place for storing and producing wooden things. My Wood Working Bench disappeared from the right of the fire. Smithery. Making metal tools got a few updates so this is an old smithery. Most of all others workstations (even the Stonemason Stand which was just before the statue). My dyes were in the Wicker Basket. I can't forget to mention the practice target. One of my biggest projects, the barn, and the farm. I planted here a lot of cotton and some potion-making plants. For better maintenance, I used turned up Clay Pots to mark the center of "planting circle". I was standing on the pot and I was just rotating myself and planting one kind of seeds in the circle. The barn was still work in progress, so not too much to see here. This was supposed to be my main plant storage. And this is my main house. It was the second thing I build, but I was upgrading it all the time. But before I show you inside of it, let me show you the energy niche. When I was done building, this place was left with nothing in it. So I set an Energy Workbench in there. There were more items arranged but they vanished somehow. Alchemy corner was all I had on the first floor. Here I figured out almost every potion. The second floor is my living room. I have the biggest treasure in here: The Propeller Pack! What could hide in the basement? Unfinished armory of course! And what could be even deeper than basement? PS: It doesn't matter which of this levers is pulled on/off, you can open the Energy door with any of them. Logic gates rule! Tunnels for Ylandium distribution! Open for easier maintenance. Are you brave enough to go deeper? Maybe I do not have caves, but this is a substitution for it. Last one screenshot and bye! I just started a new one so I'm really interested in your worlds. Show me what you have done in Ylands! Please.

My new Explore Yland is also made around one of the structures. I had a problem with generated blocks not in the building grid too.

I noticed weird paradox with Conifers (maybe even with the others, I tested only all the Conifers) in the game. Here you can see Tall Conifers and regular Conifers. Not just that they look pretty much the same (Tall Conifers are brighter) but I'm talking about the wood you can get from it. You can get 4x Log from Tall Conifers, but you will get 8x Log from regular Conifers. Tall conifers on the left. So, in the end, you will get twice as much wood from the tree on the right than from the one on the left.
