+1 on that because it would be handy to have such a button

Great trailer, a bit long for a trailer but it gives a good show about a lot of possibilities with Ylands

RESOLVED Boats (Stuck)
A3_Melle replied to White Skull Mr.Friendly's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
My ship has been stuck also several times (and a long time on my 1st time), i also picked up a spade and started digging a path (canal) in the ground below the ship (you can go reverse with the boat), and even with a raft you can give it a little push (tried that also and that worked but do not think to much of it, it goes real slow ) -
Speaking of huge open caves: This was on my first dessert Yland i came up on

I have the "same problem" but I can kill every animal
-
Looking fowerd to the update, thanks the pre-update heads up @Aleš Ulm

Well tried it again last night, gave a panther 1 hit with a katana and it just kept on walking around without even looking at me, also the animals who would normally "run away" wenn you get close just keep on going with the thing they are doing.
-
Well at least @Gracekain skipped the long sail trips, nice video's! Did notice that animals (mutated or not) were more aggressive in his video, I really walked/searched in a cave with over 40 hyenas and the never attacked me (even when I attacked them) and mentioning it now I was actually thinking about it and i never get attacked by animals since I started this mission........

Is it an idea to create a sort of story line about everybody's Ylands explore adventure(captain's log)? Like telling what you have done day by day (or special moments of 1 of your adventures? I noticed a lot of players doing a lot of exploring on Ylands and it might be fun to share those adventures with everybody here on the forum, with video or screenshots to give a visual aspect wenn you find something "new" or have build or done something special like sailing or exploring new Ylands. Just my 2 penny for my thoughts

Explorer player story/Captain's/survivor log.

To much interaction with the ARMA3 BI team has payed off I guess -
I am sure they are not tired of reading this, don't forget we are the early acces "testers" what they read now on feedback (negative or positive) will help them create a even better Ylands that's the point of early acces And if you think this is a busy forum with "feedback, suggestions, compliments and complaints" check out the ARMA3 forums The stuff the A3 BI team needs to read their is a lot wurse than here...... trust me
-
And let's not forget the "future mod community" if you look at the ARMA franchise for example....... holy f*ck (pardon my french) even if Ylands becomes half as popular as the ARMA franchise there will be some splendid mods

Maybe this helps a bit: the Yland type where i found Coal (forgot to take a screenshot of the coal itself).
-
From time to time people do play multiplayer, sometimes you need to push "refresh" to see some servers. Once Ylands hits steam the amount of players will be much bigger and people will start to run more dedicated servers.
-
Once you set sail i would fast fowerd that part for youtube viewers it could take some time before you find a new Yland, but remember to look for birds, birds in the sky means land is near
-
Just did a recon yesterday with a boat and found Coal, it was on a "normal temprature" Yland with alot of rocks, snow top mountains. Also found 1 Ylandium in a cave on that Yland really was worried about the coal but final found some (800 units) after a long search. My 1st Yland had alot (12 pieces) of Ylandium, been on 3 other islands with caves and only found 1 piece so far (besides the mutated bones).
-
Well you can find the Ylandium quartz in caves, some caves have more than others, the Ylandium looks like the blue quartz only it will shine more yellow/green.
-
Can't wait to see what we will be getting in the next few updates
-
Yes you can do all that check out Pauls youtube page there you can see some things how it works:

Gold is also found inside the caves, and don't always look on the ground because it could be on the sealing also
-
Well the caves where you find mutated animals will probably have Ylandium, it looks like quartz but will have a greenish-yellow light. If you can't find it on your Yland: set sail and head out for 1 of the other Ylands available in explore mode I did the same on my 1st Yland I "found" some mutated bones and just 3 Ylandium, went to other islands found a cave with 12 Ylandium
