It used to be possible to purchase the game at some point, but about a month ago we took the decision of stop selling the non-Steam Ylands version on our online store. You can read all about it here: https://ylands.com/community/topic/2980-dev-diary-14/ I understand the frustration of thinking you'll be able to play a game and then actually realizing it's not possible to, but I'm afraid there's no other solution than waiting for the Steam release (if you think about it, a couple of months is not that much time, is it? ) I hope to see you around when the game is out!

Have you tried running the game as administrator? (right click in the Ylands shortcut, run as administrator)

Have you tried the /unstuck command when you got yourself in any of those situations? It might be able to prevent you from falling.

As Cral07 said, can you please try reinstalling? If that doesn't solve it please let us know.

Could you please attach your logs so that we take a look? Do you have Avast antivirus installed? For some reason it sometimes detects ylands.exe as suspicious, you might have to add it as an exception, or try reinstalling the game with the antivirus disabled. Running the launcher as admin might help too.

Is it happening everywhere in the game or do you just feel that the mouse is inverted when controlling cars?

Answering your questions, engines can't be powered by generators, only power cells. And yes, you can place heaters on cars.
