    Problem with mobile launch

    This game has amazing potential but the bounce rate when it comes to mobile users is very high because they feel like there's nothing to do. Creative mode doesn't entertain people unless they've already been through a explore mode typically because explore mode forces you to do certain things. I think a mini Explorer mode or something like that for mobile is absolutely essential to climatize users to the platform. There also needs to be much more game content as the current showcases don't seem to get people entertain for a very long time especially when they don't have other people to play them with. @Aleš Ulm @Houp @Adam Snellgrove I just want this mobile launch to be a great success because I got so many people in P1 that play mobile games only and we really want to see it succeed.

    Since everything is in groups, we can't get at the individual blocks without breaking all the groups. Moreover, the types of blocks we use are vastly different.
  3. Ylands 1.0 has totally broken all the games that P1 has made so far. I realize that's what Early Access is all about. Just to put things into perspective we have worked close to 5,000 hours to make those games are reality and our work looks like this: You can imagine how we feel. I'm asking you guys to seriously consider, from this point forward, updates designed not to break creators content. @Aleš Ulm We are wishing you all the best with the release of the game and hope to support you.

    Seems this has not helped. The image I showed is of the "fixed" version it seems. Moreover, redoing the alpha of all the objects is very tough since there are so so many.

    Free camera is broken again You changed it from Q to SPACE to go up and SHIFT to go down but you forgot shift is also the speed button so down is 300x faster than up.

    You cant save an editor creation directly as a blueprint. Rather you need to play your scenario and use the blueprint camera.

    Respawn and inventory

    In generated explore maps respawn on bed and inventory loss on respawn should be check-box settings. Ideally we want a world where a lot of people are generating these special Explore maps and using them instead of standard Explorer maps and adding their own features to them. This is ideal because you can use full logic in these generated Explore Maps. However if it's hard for people to do because of missing stuff like the respawn point situation, lack of map, lack of dropping items on respawn etc. There's going to be a lot of work up front that's totally unnecessary for people to create custom explore games.

    Definitely, and that's why I'm actually not angry about this at all but rather I'm asking that once the game releases that serious consideration is taken into effect concerning game updates.

    I'm not sure you understand, these are fundamental changes to the game that broke our games such as changes to alpha values which are permanent and intentional. We would love to see an update script which would help bring things back as they were.

    1 - Open steam 2 - Open Ylands 3 - Open editor 4 - Open a new game 5 - Click on the menu and go to "Show local files" 6 - Back up your files 7 - close Ylands 8 - Right click Ylands in steam and click "properties" and go to the BETA tab 9 - Enter the code BackupYourData 10 - Set your version to the new beta 11 - Play Ylands 12 - Login as guest (it does not work otherwise) More details:
