That's right. We know an alpha takes time and I think most of us like the direction this game is headed and the responsive staff team. It's leaving Early Access that scares me.

The new Ylands NPC update has a lot of people confused. If you are confused, please ask your question here! How do I find NPCs? Where do I find NPCs? How do I trade with NPCs? What do I trade with NPCs? How do I add NPCs to my map/world? How can I test out NPCs without finding them? 1-2: You find NPCs at a certain time of day in special locations such as this bazaar. Look for a bazaar like this one and be there at 10 AM to trade. 3. To trade with NPCs just walk up to them and right click. You will notice your items have a value to the vendor (gold number under each). Drop your items into the trading window and drag items from his menu into the trading window. WARNING! If you trade unequally priced items, you will LOOSE the difference. 4. They like gold. 5. Don't add them to explore maps, they will corrupt it. To add one, go to the Ylands workshop, download the comp & place it in your world. https://ylands.net/asset/231 6. So my friend @stephen92, after being warned a ton that the editor is broken right now, dug in to build the best map ever. Sadly, it was so big it broke his server in 4 hours... I made a video to honor it's memory:

Seems like he is sticking to making bits and pieces in the editor this time around and then making those bits work stand alone. That's a smart way to go.

Each house on our building server has great significance because they allow you to bring in new players. Let’s say your name is Fred and you play on the server. If you want to get Ed in you first have to build him a guest room and then pay a little bit of currency to get him in. This makes it so that active users are carefully choosing new active users who will keep the strict rules. Built today Our rules: Don’t use cannons Don’t use electrics Build houses opposite spawn No ships (rafts are allowed but there is only 1 island). No glitches Build max 3 houses per 1 chunk Clean up after you cut down trees, mine. Propeller packs are banned unless you currently have a working on attached to your back.

Which biomes in Ylands have which key resources? Arid has Sulphur. Tropical has Rubber/Bamboo What am I missing? Iron? Clay? Gold? Copper? Saltpeter?

On editor maps where the day is set to 24 hours long, the sleep time takes something like 20 min.

I thought Sulphur was arid only?

Great to hear you are looking at multiplayer! Thanks guys! This game is great as-is. If what is in today works well, there is so much gameplay to be had. Especially editor and multiplayer. I know me and so many people who make servers will spam out fun maps in the editor for use with multiplayer once things are really stable. @stephenw92 *cough* *cough*

I reset my active server 7 times a day to get people in due to lag. I have to wipe the server daily.
