Ok, sorry for the triple post. I did find a way. When you are in the editor, open up the view options, uncheck water. Now you can add terrain.

@Adam Snellgrove op is right, you can't add soil in any way I can find.

Do you have it selected for dynamic terrain? And please note that painting terrain is a different tab. There are two separate tabs for terrain.

I want to see a way to use water in construction. Pools, ponds, fountains.

I was trying to start a new explore map. I started one in the main screen, then opened it in editor to add a few buildings and such. I was trying to place a composition, but wanted to remove an item from it. I clicked on edit group, and the trouble began. The edit group function did not want to work. So I deleted the building and was going to add another different one. I keep getting the error "group cannot be empty" inside the map, it says hit escape to cancel edit group. This does not work. I deleted the map and was going to start again. I keep getting the error. I tried to get a screen cap, but apparently that isn't working either. Also, the P1 community is pretty good with tutorials and such. Hit them up. @RedEagle_P1.

I had hoped the "group cannot be empty" bug would have been fixed at the last hotfix. It's still there. In every screen, in every map, so annoying.

Which server type did you rent? I think you want the gold version. @Adam Snellgrove

Some of my players are having trouble getting into my server with this same problem. My direct link is sending them to one of the P1 servers as well. And searching for my server is still problematic. I don't have files to share. But my direct link is 2223661250

You know what would be super duper helpful? Since three months of the gold level server is 8200 coyns, could you sell an 8200 coyn pack. It would just be easier. As it is, I have to do math and it's my day off.

I think you will find they either don't work at all or not like you think they will.

If you had it in early access, you should not have to pay for the exploration DLC. But, yeah, the islands are too small, too few and ships are pointless now.

I realize we hit full release and the holidays all at the same time. But I am trying to plan here. Is Nitrado going to be a viable alternative? Can someone tell us what the hold up is? I could run the game on Nitrado until Beta dropped. Now I can't. I paid for a month with the promise that it was coming "soon." What is really happening? I can use BI. The problem being 1) it is more expensive 2) I have less control 3) I can't share admin access 4) I don't like being forced into a single option. I am trying to build a community here guys. Difficult when access becomes limited. Please kick Nitrado in the nuggets or find a company who will work with you.

We each have our own build style, I guess. The premade slabs are very limiting in my experience. And there are never the right piece you are looking for. No snapping to the world grid is a total PITA, and smooshing things together really isn't a thing. Ylands has a different building mechanic. And as clunky as it is sometimes, it is still the best builder out their IMO. And I constantly look for good builders. But Paralives may have them beat. I have high hopes.
