dog sleds, reindeer sleds, skis, snow shoes, arctic parrots, some more fur clothes like a cape or shoulder thingie... i like the white wolves a lot (at least to watch ) arctic islands (finaly found one today..) could have northern lights in the night?

i wonder if the propeller pack runs out of fuel or power when used for longer time? i know that the drill runs out of power after a while (tried that in the funfair map), and i guess the charging station renews the powersupply, but i'm a bit shy to fly to another island without knowing this excatly

maybe hit the "roof"? i know that in unturned if you hit the top side of the skybox, things turn messy. didnt the drill have a gauge (is that the word?) for the power left. i'd assume that every machine would have one then? devs?

anyone checked if the cookingpot is still buildable as a cosmetic thing for decoration?

its in exploration. i just pressed V for the placingmode and rotated them up and placed them. but they dont block movement, at least for me. cant say if it does for predators, they somehow got extinct on this island *cough*, no clue why.. and the planteaters seem to not come up the hill. maybe too cold up here for wabbits and piggsies.

if i understood that right, the upgrades have been removed. the last one was the kettle-thing for the cookingstation (i didnt experience the others myself). the kettle was needed to make the woodpulp, and now you can make the pulp without, even in the campfire. i guess the others were similar things.

hmm.. those seem to be quite common atm.. island no. 3 had also one.. on the map it shows as if filled with water... which makes nasty ideas come up. mutated sharks anyone? the place on the shore with cave shrooms and stuff didnt really go down.. checked it with my new prop but i had a near death exp. while peacefully flying through the jungle following a jagged inland cliff..: nasty 'lil doom-rock hidden there.. and when i though that i finaly found some sulfur, it was gold... on the surface (well it goes down pretty far too) busy day, today.

hmm... finaly found the time to visit another island. and to my surpride i found a birch island at last, yay. and it even has a different kind of open cave.. sort of.. there were even two mutated beasts on the shoreline. stumbled almost into the first, when i rushed to a strange purple heap on the ground.. then saw the large shrooms in the water. havent explored the underwater situation there, as water is a bit cold... not that i am a cold-water-sissy, its just that cold water rusts my tools faster than warm water..

imagine, you are to lazy to build a new chest for a couple of sticks... and instead start building a fence with them... and then find out, that it does not block movement..

okay.. i had a plan and a vision, and opened my explore savegame.. first obstacle was a in game warning along the lines of.. "cannot place shiphulls anywhere except water".. that is sad and put an early stop to my venture. then i opened a cheater, erm, creator map and found those wreck-hulls which could be placed between some rocky hills. so far so good. then i proceeded to place some platforms to start with the ropebridges.... computer said "nooo" .. tried some workaroundstuff but computer still said the same.. Aethelis said gtfo and deleted the map. so unless there is a way to do fancy stuff i'm not aware of, i dont see a way to make things that arent rectangular brickbuildings, which makes me sad. really would like to experiment but atm the "no building here" restrictions scare me off.. and placing it with V isnt really usefull for stuff like the floor (or wall/roof/anything) of your base imo. so.. sorry, no shiphull-ewok-ropebridge-housing today.

i was a bit confused a couple of days ago, as the amount of birds was quite large to the amount of islands i found. are there island with more than one bird? -

thank you very much! the respawn "hotfix" is very generous, i really appreciate! i think as a temporary thing its great (the final thing can be more restrictive imo) and will make players go out there and do crazy stuff and post pics of new islands and fantastic ships. you rock!

hey. this might be something for waay later, but i really like to see something to make tree houses. they could be items like the shiphulls, but, well, in shape of a big, gnarled tree (actualy there could be several versions, matching the existing treetypes). it would come without platforms and such, but offer some interesting spots to start building. some additional items would flesh the concept out, like ropebridges for example, and organic shapes for floors/roofs. those'll be useful for non-treehuggers too.. a problem i see would be fitting roofs and such, as building items cant be built "into" eachother.

just tried it in a new game: when i had all materials, the blacksmith forge didnt show up in the essentials tab. it showed when searching for it. then, a goat messed up my experiment. but after i searched it, it showed up in the all-in tab. wanted to try if it shows before searching in the all-in tab. have to repeat it without goats nearby, but for now i'd say, i doesnt show up in the essentials tab.
