Igor Q. 519 Posted September 9, 2019 If you go to object properties for "paper" and change the text, in game when reading the paper it will show that text on paper However I tried doing the same thing with a Book A-B-C gardening and when I tried reading the book, nothing happened (no book UI pop up, or anything). 0 Adam Snellgrove 1451 Posted October 8, 2019 So Aleš says, that this could definitely be possible and we'll look into it after 1.0.
0 Adam Snellgrove 1451 Posted September 10, 2019 Books shouldn't be editable, so that isn't a bug. If you think they should be, I can discuss it with Aleš.
0 Indomitus 388 Posted September 10, 2019 How about leaving the existing books as not editable, but giving us a blank book object with an array of pages inside that we can edit. To keep it manageable, maybe the number of pages can be limited.
0 Adam Snellgrove 1451 Posted September 10, 2019 Not a bad idea. I'll put it into the suggestion box for Aleš ☺️ Would be cool to be able to make 'lore books' and such ?
0 Igor Q. 519 Posted September 10, 2019 Yeah that would be wonderful. I would love to be able to leave ancient diary logs in islands for players to find.
