If you go to object properties for "paper" and change the text, in game when reading the paper it will show that text on paper However I tried doing the same thing with a Book A-B-C gardening and when I tried reading the book, nothing happened (no book UI pop up, or anything).

This is really great news. Happy to see changes for exploration mode. I would like to give my 2 cents and say that it would be ideal to have some kind of cue for players to know when they are ready to move onto the next map. Ex: Island % explored. I think limiting player technology based on "recipe knowledge" is an excellent way to do this. Ex: after beating/exploring the first island the player must "conquer" other islands in order to get new recipes to build things. Obviously a player cannot rush the last tier island because they will not have the late game recipes unlocked and instead use their "wood armor" to beat low tier islands to unlock "iron armor" and so on etc. In other news I hope maps will be customizable in editor. I think by default anytime a player builds more than 2 critical structures such as a bed and forge, automatically a home icon should be placed on the map. (However it can be deleted if the player wishes).

I think the point of coyns is to unlock other people's content and get skins and stuff. RN there is limited skins but once release day comes I think cosmetics will go into full force

Looks good, I hope they breath fire, shoot spikes out of their back and like to swim in lava ☺️ (Speaking of lava, I do hope we get some kind of water variant after V1.0 for lava.) The images of alpha mutants gives me hope we will still get a demon costume with wings later ?

For all the vinyl lovers out there, I made a turntable with some speakers beside it. It was originally suppose to have a script that would let you change the background music in-game and let you turn it off....buuuuut, no scripts allowed rip

It's less about using arrays and more about creating a custom size grid.

Also to add, some of the play sound options have volume too loud while others are way too quiet. Ex: Plant Rustle It would be nice to have a volume option to calibrate them.

Hi. I think we need volume settings to be slightly adjusted. In my opinion, even with Background music set to maximum (10) and SFX set to minimum (1), I find that the SFX is overbearing and too loud to enjoy the background music. I really want to create and enjoy immersive environments but I can't if the music is too quiet.

This is awesome. I really hope Ylands can introduce some kind of "chunk" system like Minecraft where each chunk is an island. And with that, have some sort of algorithm that can seemlessly (using seed # for each island) make an infinite archipelago. (And just store each island chunk as a local file or something).

Just realized this, would it be possible to also input the widget location in the script editor? I want to be able to insert a grid into a custom window, however I want it to be varying depending on the number of players and the number of scenarios. Ex:

Hi To make things easier, could we please have Ctrl + Left Arrow, Ctrl + Right Arrow to Move Up/Down Parent? It would make UI configurations much easier to set up. Main reason I want this is because I get this situation while assigning parents (see bottom right) Thanks

Another Suggestion: Please add an event for "On Close" for custom windows. Allow us to disable closing custom windows.

Would rather prefer chat being behind custom windows since custom windows are not permanent states. Just close window and chat is easily visible... -

If you make a custom window with buttons, any chat that appears in-game will disable clickable buttons underneath it. Suggestion: Have chat always be underneath custom windows. -

To add to this list.. Can we make it possible to use numbers to recall Widget ID's? Can we make text size easier to modify using a number system and within the script? (and not small, medium, large)

Is the parent (reference point) object the same for both of them? What about HP values?

This is actually intended I think. When you weld they are all treated like building blocks, so to make it consistent they all must have the same "take hit" effect. Since blocks such as wood shake when hit, welding crystals should do the same thing.

A few points to add... I think it would be really nice if there was an affection level similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. Where you get bonuses like the horse being tankier, less scared (you don't get knocked off the horse if it sees a tiger) and faster. If we could brush the horses hair, give them specific foods and take them out on runs that would seem ideal. Especially if each horse has a favorite food... I think it would also be great if we had a special "Stable" option where we can take our fast friend onto the ships so we can transport them to other islands. (And maybe an alternative option for cars, however transporting cars would be more expensive and a "luxury" . Giving us the option to give the personal saddle colors, (maybe armor?), and "haircuts" would be pretty cute and I think add a little more "breadth" for things to do in the Ylands world.
