Great Suggestions The only thing i can say that is already ingame is the snorkeling gear, is not really the snorkeling gear but it's a diving gear with a breathing mask and the suit. Don't know if that is what you were looking for

I know the game is still alpha and there's a lot of features that have higher priority and need more attention than the ones im suggesting down bellow. Just giving an idea for a feature down the line that would be interesting Was wondering for people seeking a more challenging experience, if the server host or a workshop creator could have a slider for Creature Damage% and Creature HP%(i know that in workshop you can change hp of mobs for each one, im talking about making it a global variable). I know now it wouldn't make that much difference, i am just thinking about it as a future feature, when there is more variety of creatures and the existence of npcs. For Workshop only: /-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ Custom Npcs and Dialogue options, make it possible to script a dialogue with an npc, like a rpg. /-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ It would make the game experience more customizable. The damage/health slider for creatures would make the game harder/easier, making servers more different from each other. A mod in minecraft that i really enjoy made this possible, you could script dialogues and change appearance, stats inventory, ingame in this case. Here is a picture of the minecraft mod, CustomNpcs.

chivas477 replied to Maiyawave's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
@Maiyawave well or you wait for the new version 0.5 and hope its fixed Or wait for the Ylands team to reply to you and solve the problem You most likely gonna need to add your log file, that is located in GAMES_FOLDER\Ylands\Game\Ylands_Data -

Most likely the server you trying to join, its bugged, the serverhost needs to restart it. Have you tried other servers? -
Suggestion - Being able to toggle on/off energy green lines visibility

It would be great if by default you couldn't see the connections. And you had to have a specific helmet or glasses to be able to see them. -
The Underdark is a survival game where you spawn underground, and you progress your way up until you reach the surface. The Tunnel to get to the way to the top is huge, but you will find the necessary resources inside the caves to make the necessary tools to facilitate the process of making your way up the tunnel. Each Dweller has 7 lifes, you come equipped with a set of hide armor, a stone pickaxe, health potions and cold resistance potions. Beware of the mutated creatures.!! Here some tips to help you out: Tip#1 - Each cave has resources like iron, clay, flint. Tip#2 - Along the way up there are caves that have additional resources, for example Ylandium crystals, flowers and magic blossoms to make potions, coal, saltpeter, sulphur. Tip#3 - Avoid the areas with cold, and use your potions wisely until you get to the upper caves you will not have igredients to make more Tip#4 - Use the mushrooms as food Hope you guys enjoy it. Moving stuck boats - Terraforming underwater
chivas477 replied to Reuvil's question in Suggestions & Feedback
I believe they will deal with that issue in the future, as the game is still in alpha they most likely have more important content and issues that needs dealing first, and then they can polish all the details in the game -

It would really help workshop creators, on the pixel art department, if there were blocks, cubes of all the colors. What i find lacking most of the times is, a black colored block (#000000) and dimgray (#2E2E2E), other ones but not so important are cyan (#00FFFF) and pink (#FFC0CB), im using the chocolate block as a replacement for pink but the brown part of the cube makes it useless in some cases. (Implementing this on scenario only should not take massive resources and make things a lot more easier on the creation parts, especially on pixel art but of course it helps in other areas.) On the normal game perspective, it could come with a painting system, where you get dyes from plants that you then can paint a block with the color of the dye.(I understand that implementing this on the normal game would be harder, as such you will need to create more than the blocks with the colors) Colored blocks would make it a lot easier to create art. I'm certain the team already thought about this topic, as it's not that revolutionary idea, but postponed it for another time to focus on more important stuff Love the game, keep up the good work

When you quit the game it saves, if you want to host the saved game you just need to press continue on the main menu, and then press the name of the game you were playing. So instead of going for multiplayer host like you did the first time, you just need to continue. There is no way to save the game while in game that i know of, unless when its dedicated theres an option for that.

Made 2 statues of the previous characters from Monkey Island that i recreated in 2d, on Ylands. This is not a copy paste, they are both 3d now, with a lot more detail - back and front are different - legs are completely new - and lot more details Here is the link to the workshop Hope that people enjoy PS:Packed the 2 together to avoid making 2 posts, and didn't see a point to make 2 different posts.

Another Pixel Art addition, from the Curse of Monkey Island, its the main antagonist from the series, Le Chuck Here is the link to the workshop Hope you like it PS: i'll stop posting new creations for a while it feels like i'm spamming right now XDD, will work on a bigger project to have some time gap for the next post

I normally use existing Beads arts or existing pixel art, to make it in the game if i want to do a fast creation I can also make pixel art from normal images it just makes it longer the time i'll have to put into creating it. In those cases, i normally pixelate the picture first, so i can get the feel of how many block i'll need, and then i just make a grid on top of the picture, and off i go PS: That was actually the picture i used to make this one, nice detective work hehe

Hello everyone, I've done loads of construction in minecraft on editors and inside the game, so i thought about messing about in the Ylands Editor, and got to say really good experience, and it might be even better than MCEdit for Minecraft. Made this pixel art of Majora's Mask of Legend of Zelda, and a pyramid. Both are in the workshop already , I've been working on medieval theme castle fort with buildings inside, will then share on the workshop the individual buildings in composition and will do share in games as well in a vibe of role playing inside the fort, with roles as the king, knights and guardsmen. Was wondering if people on ylands are interested on pixel art or not, just scouting for the vibe of the players, to plan other projects in the future Here's the link to the Ylands workshop page of Majora's Mask To check the pyramid project that i made click here

Lol, and another one bites the dust. May your character find peace in the afterlife until you respawn it back PS: I hope it wasn't starvation and then falling, cause that would be an awful way to die

Indeed, steam should bring a lot of "new blood" to the community, like e3 did a little as well. Just found this game because of e3, surely steam will shine a bigger spotlight on Ylands and will bring it to the general population of gamers PS: It's a great honor to see my creation in your world Keep up the good work
