  1. Good luck. Dont worry about fixing my world as I take regular backups and have moved on using one of those. One thing I forgot is that when I got slain I didnt get any message. I was just lying on the ground and the bear walked off. I had to quit the world. When I came back in I got the message you see above. Cheers.
  2. I just met up with a Polar Bear. Shot two sets of pistol bullets at him. He didnt even flinch. Hit a number of times with sword and didnt have any effect again. Got slain but not getting any respawn option. Just Main Menu button. Unless I am missing something I am stuck! I have attached the logs and zipped game. Please let me know if there is a way out of this. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt SAMARKUELS_PAD.zip
  3. I have played for a few hours today and didnt get the constant freezing at all!! One thing I noticed was the return of the "Retrieving Data" message at the start. This went missing after 0.14 update and has returned since your connection fix. Anyway as far as I am concerned it is back to the way it was. Do you still want me to send a savegame?
  4. I get two connection errors. One seems to be the same as this one, see: The other relates to making a connection across our local network:
  5. BTW this error occurred after installing update 0.14. I had an error before this that was going to be fixed with this update. See:
  6. Get an endless "Establishing Connection" error when I am trying to connect to my dedicated server. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
  7. Tried this server again and I get a continuous "Establishing connection" message. I will create a new question for this issue. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
  8. I think I have two issues here and have now created one for the local network connection error. I am still getting the constant freezes however I do have periods where there are less of them. Some worlds give higher frame rates and less freezes and it seems to relate to the complexity of the world.
  9. This is getting stranger. Although this game has been published as multiuser I found that it was now (since update 0.14) set as not published. I published it again and gave the new id to the friend I play the game with and they are getting the message: "Game can no longer be found online. It has most likely been terminated by its host". I quit the world and closed/restarted Ylands. Gave my friend the new id and they still get the same message. One interesting thing here is that I am not getting the constant lag now!!!! I then got my friend to start another world we have played and I was able to connect to them without any problems. BTW we play across our local network.
  10. I am getting a constant short freeze/lag every few seconds since I installed update 0.14. The frame rate drops to the 30's but I think that is just reflecting the freeze. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
  11. Thanks you for your quick response. I have removed the game from the server and stored it locally. We can connect to it without a problem. I have attached a zip of the game. BTW we love the game and have played it off and on since early days. Thanks. Kind regards FREE WILL.zip
  12. We bought a 4 player dedicated server yesterday and loaded a new explore world. We played for a couple of hours without any problems then signed off for a break. Now when we try to connect we get an error with the heading of "Connection failed" and details of "Unspecified error". Sometimes we are asked for the password before this error and other times we just get the error without a password request. We want to continue playing the world and are thinking of removing from server and playing locally. Would this hinder your investigation of this problem? Is it worth removing and uploading again to see if the problem goes away. Would be grateful for any help. Kind Regards, output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
