I know the hit radius for "battle" and hitting trees/rocks has got a boost with the new update but also with that came a huge hit radius, you can actually chop down 2 trees close to each other or hit unwanted objects close to the area you are hitting on.
Picture 1: i was cutting down a young tree and it also took down a small bush quit far away.
Picture 2: while hitting a rock i also started hitting the tree with my hamer.

Waited for the new 0.11 to cast my point of view....... i do miss 1st person, aiming for removing a log from a row of logs is still (very) hard to do, and 1st person for me always helped me out on that part, i even stopped building my wooden shelter from logs for now (i also love to play in 1st person from time to time).
And yes did notice the "zoom in" wenn in a tight place but still grabbed 3x the wrong log before getting the 1 i needed to remove while aiming for the right log.

Congratulations ylands team! this update is awesome! it really runs much smoother with better FPS for me and i really like how good the new features come to life with this update!

Well even tho it might have seem a bit "silent" you guys really had a busy few weeks/months! Nice changelog and will be testing it ingame ASAP ? I want my pet ?

It can also happens to other stuff, wenn you grow bamboo to close together and chop/saw down a lot at once some seeds and bamboo sticks can float in mid air also. Wenn it is out of reach just place a log and stand on it (in 1st person) take the thing from the air and grab the log again(smash it within before the timer ends).

I think what you are doing might be a good choice to take focus on development now and make sure to come back with a "bang", especially after polishing up some nasty bugs, and I know for sure some big content creators will be coming back as soon as the hype goes rolling again and they want to see what the missed out since the early days of steam release (and they actualy missed out a few nice updates).
I'll miss you on gamescom but I will have a chat with some of the Q&A ☺

Well got my exams/end presentation this week, so after that I really hope to get some more pc gametime and get some quality time again on Ylands.
Thanks for this update and I am sure that the "bugs" will be fixed soon so we can enjoy this update at its full 100%

Thanks for the "update" on the update looking fowerd to the new options (especially the blueprints and the MP offline mode with the new Ycloud ).

Welkom same here with the shooters, i'm coming from the ARMA community (Bohemia Interactive games fan for many years now!).

Congrats with this huge step fowerd for the future on the Chinese game market (I know from social media experience how big that is).
I am sure Ylands will be verry popular and who known for the future Bohemia Interactive this can grow on for more future games now that the first "official" steps are taken with the biggest game industry in the world!
Also good to see and hear that the word is finally out about @Myrik Greene, one of the few faces we don't see or hear a lot about as it is actually Marek Španěl ☺ it explains a lot!
I really wish I could be of more help on social media and some streaming (I still do my best) but at the moment i have a real busy schedule at work with a new demanding function and 3 courses to study and do exams in within 3 months.
I do try to escape to the nice EU Explorer 21 server every few days for some gametime to lose some stress and just enjoy the game ?

Ahh I was also missing the part of waking up out of hunger, this could be the because of the same tweak.
Accidentally hit my sleep till morning button a second time so slept for "over 36 hours", my little campfire was still on fire and their was no hunger (SP explore mode).

Well it's a outstanding piece to read again, and the questions from Ylanders that were answered.
Can't wait for trying out the trading and see how the NPC's will be on my Yland.

I always use a saw wenn I get the chance to create 1, if you look at my inventory you could have seen that I am still using all the "rock/wood" based tools because I don't have iron tools yet (so also no saw) I just started a new explorer game as fresh spawn after the 0.11 update(thsee screenshots were taken verry shortly after 0.11 release).
And for the tree I used a (stone)axe and for the big rock I used a (stone) hamer and both had a few hits far from the "normal" hit radius.
