  1. Really frustrating.. :| I'm surprised it never happened to me, I did often start building my ship project from the Cube / Creation mode before importing it to Editor for detailing stage. For the "painting things", I just encountered color that will switch back to before it get painted, this could caused by error at "Save game" process; and color that change to white no matter what its, this could caused by error at "Save" in composition. All that painting issue I mentioned is happening in Editor. With the spray paint, issue like yours never happened to me neither in Explore and Creation mode.

Finally I'm able to visit NA 15, "Downloading server data" thingy is so sensitive with RTO.. Oh well the adventure just begin, I'm coming when the world is evening, and apparently some people don't like to sleep.. what a poor caveman who doesn't have flint to light fire.. xD Glad I met Bee who knows my condition and gave lantern to me. Thanks Bee and bb cakes, I got some fun, even tho just an hour or so. Oh man, good to be back at Multiplayer. :D Little bit of thing to remember that I visited NA 15, even tho looks blurry ^_^:298610_20180519223736_1.thumb.png.77e3c8ff9a98927127a773a8d658e1f7.png

  3. Did you mean your character is teleport all of over the place when on the ship? If so, then its known issue, and I believe they still trying to find out the cause and how to fix it.^_^ So be patient man, if you can't be patient then play another games until they update the Ylands.  I think there are many interesting games for "Japan-only" region . :D


  4. Oh man, I just realized that.. Ylands is kinda hybrid.. No character collision, but don't have targeting system.. I myself not sure how to make good combat, which at the end not only "button smashing". A lot of MMO just use "button smashing" technique with timing as an add-on to make it little bit interesting. Like if you smash button at the right time, it trigger combo or critical hit.
    About the incoming attack, I think just put it in normal speed animation. At the end, for MP the big problem is laying between our latency..
    Thanks for weekly news, I'm honestly addicted to this.. xD

    Btw as SparkPlug mentioned, Is there  news for NPC AI (path finding)? I mean, animals that not moving or seems stuck is still common.

  5. @kimbuck I don't plan to stay for long (because of the i-net connection that might be bad for me, and other stuff) ;) , but thanks for your generosity. I will try to help what I can and might have some fun. xD

  6. first of all, you're at wrong side of sub-forum.
    second, where did you die? If you died on polar biome, you will spawn at another island. That's how it works.
    third, your question is absurd, I've spend 500+ hours and dead isn't a problem in singleplayer because your stuff will not go anywhere. So you will be careful next time. *Edit* My suggestion is always know where you are and where you are going to, at least you recognize the landmark or something nearby. For caving I always put something on the way I'm going to, so I can trace the path if something bad happen.

    I did similar thing when I was playing at PA 17, but sadly someone put PB on it. I honestly don't know his/her intention (claiming for her/himself or to protect it). I gave up after that.. xD

  11. Hmmh, about the keys disappeared, I think it's known bug and should be fixed in the future. About preferring one of another, both lock mechanism has their own unique thing, it's depends on how and what you use it on. For example, the keys is way faster to lock things. If you have keys chain on "shortcut bar or toolbar", it's simply just hold your keys chain on your hands and lock things up quickly. It's also easier to make at the beginning stage.

    About combination lock that goes back to our inventory, oh well it's combination lock, not "digital lock" that you only need to press buttons. Now that I mentioned digital lock, I think Devs need to make one of those as next advance tech.. :x

    I think that's part of "civilization advancement", from cave man to paranoiac with lots of keys, then modern civilization with combination locks and then advanced civilization that just need to remember their passwords(maybe). xD

    So I don't think we need to remove keys mechanism. Remember, this is just my opinion. ;)

    As side-note, so far my experience playing with Chinese players (not only in Ylands), they're like known to be crazy builder. They love to build massive things.. Even just walls, they build it massive and bulky. xD

    Yeah I thought so. But if they want to make exploration mode to be their "official" thing, then there is custom map for non-official DS, which I think will be generated much better in the future. Up voted this thread. ;)

    hahaha that light is actually teleportation effect, it has sound effect too. If that gif has sound.. that thing is so loud when infinite loop happen. Just don't choose "loiter" if you want to make it standstill. And I suggest maybe only use 1 waypoint for each NPC. If I remember correctly, the "teleport" loop happen when you directly have 2 or more waypoints for an NPC.

    Sorry, my explanation is a bit confusing, because I only remember the important part when I did experiment with NPCs. :D And I can't play Ylands atm. ^_^
