@kimbuck I stopped by to see what your base looked like. I found your tombstone inside your base No body, no loot. And then I died twice trying to get basic stuff together. It seems like the hooligans have been too busy killing each other to take out the wild life.

I love building on arid biomes because of the unlimited sandstone. This is my current work in progress. Mostly I just need to make windows and then furnish.

I usually do that because it helps me visualize my protected space. And it helps keep the horses out.

You could train them to climb and fetch things for you.

You could also take them out of inventory while you are cooking.

I was the player that found them. They all looked the same to me, but I was a little busy trying not to die.

2 and 3 I use for my weapons, usually war ax and war hammer, in that order. 5 is usually a digging tool. 8 is flint. 9 is map. The others are random

And how about trading blueprints with other players? Or sell them to NPC for other players to "buy." Edited to add question: Will you have a "shopping list" so that I know how many logs I need to get etc?

It doesn't have to do with the props because when it happened with me, I didn't have a prop.

The answer is water that doesn't break. My current base has so many shallows. I wish I could dig out and have a proper pier.

Shark music especially needs to be tweeked. Also, I wish there was a variation. Slightly diff tune or something based on what the threat is. Sharks different than puma, for example.

I think I got a new barrier. But I really don't remember. Would be easy enough to replicate to see.

Unless it has changed with 0.8 you can rename your character. I had issues in 0.7 and my character was unplayable. So I called her a slightly different name. B.B. Cakes. The old barrier did not recognize me, I could still use things because I had access to the keys. But I was issued a new barrier. Which could come in handy...

Are we playing the same game? AFAIK, there isn't any modding at this point. The monetization is about as unobtrusive as it could possibly be and still exist (it doesn't work for me, but I'm confident it will at some point.) Yes there are bugs, but the last update and hotfix solved a huge amount of them.
