So ran into a cheater, posted about it in a general chat post. I am running a Dedicated server so im not hosting it from my computer but do own the server itself. There should be something implemented to give the owner access to the Ban and kick commands. But since im not actually running the server off my computer I can not kick or ban made cheaters Have like a system where you can get host admin command access if you enter a code. The owner can set the code, and give it to other players if needed. Cause if you run a Dedicated server. There is no in game admin to kick Cheaters or unwanted players

So this had happened on multiple servers and not just me but also the friends i play with. when going out of render distance of the boat it seams, it'll go black or become burnt. when this happens you cant use it or anything, and if someone is controlling the boat when this happens to someone. they become invisible or just a floating head anything attached to the boat disappears including dropped items, it all returns once you relog. So far only way to fix this is to relog.

does anyone know how to prevent dying from starvation when you go offline. if the protective barrier will stop this from happening or not. or even if there are other ways around it. otherwise ill have to figure something out after logging off when i venture off from the starter island

i would love to have the option for the ability to repair things, mostly the boat hull. having like a repair tool itself for boat repairs or something of the sorts or even a new table for boat stuff which would include a boat repair tool

oh dam i sure hope it is, had full inventory, get on my boat and i teleport on someones boat whos sailing. fall off,stranded in middle of no where with no saved map and almost no food. build a raft that glitchs and wont move. relog, well try to relog to fix raft, but really relog to try the unstuck cmd but game wont load as it keeps freezing at 100% so im afraid ima starve in the middle of no where on a shitty raft. Rip got back in after about the 2nd dozen time of restarting game and got past the 100% mark, almost died of starvation, but the unstuck command brought me to a random island which now i need to find my way back to my boat somehow and find that island where i was

can i bring some cannons and give your habor an explosive entrance?

has anyone put a protective barrier on a boat yet? i though about doing it but havent gotten around to having a good enough boat to put one on it im not sure if its even possible. but having a main base on a boat can be risky if you end up loosing the hull

the starter island that i ended up getting wasnt small, it was on a larger size of about a 10m walk around

so found a new bug with the stone pick. I use it often but did something different on this online server. I used a basic repair kit on it. After repairing it the first time, it broke after using it, but after it broke i kept on digging. without having my dig button pressed or the animation for digging for my player. I continued to keep digging with the broken pick, but it showed me just standing there. if i walked around i would still keep digging. it stopped once i switch to a different tool. After repairing the stone pick the second time, i though maybe itll happen again once it broken. And you know what it did. but this time i had a screen freeze and that stopped my digging. This is the first time i used a basic repair kit on the stone pick. next server i join I will try to recreate this. that wont be till i crush, kill, and destory everyone and everything on this server. or i get stuck in another boat Im friendly i swear !Update! so after killing some random person and stealing their basic repair kits i repaired my broken stone pick. I was able to finish my starter cave with this bug, My pick broke once again for the 3rd time from repairing it, and i kept on digging. Felt like the energizer bunny. still on the same server. still using the same pick, next time i will make a new one and repair it after it breaks, !Update Update! so made a new stone pick and broke it for the first time, kept on digging even without having to repair it. so im no longer 100% certain the basic repair kit did anything. and if it did, it started it as thats the only difference i did with the pick. playing on someones server so not sure how the save file thing works

was on a different server and ended up breaking my stone pick for the first time and i continued to keep digging without the animation. so it def wasnt the repair kit that did this. I was able to keep digging with the broken stone pick until i got hungry and had to eat. it stopped once i changed from the broken pick. looked funny standing around and having dirt disappear where ever i was looking

i made this mistake once of making stairs facing the back of the ship. first time i used them while sailing. i went for a swim

I Believe that he made the ship in Editor mode. i remember reading in the fourms somewhere, someone said you can place masts on built parts only in editor mode

I like the idea of having a dedicated button for the map once you get it like "M" as well as being able to see the whole map and being able to place X marks on the map. Upvote for sure!!

i dont think so. thats more for boats, and crafting tables i believe

im curious how this bug is doing on progress of being fixed. this bug is very annoying but there are ways around it with making island direction marks on islands. i usally use dirt in the shape of an arrow or the path of a seagul

i had a ship with 6 large masts, faster then the propeller pack. i had backward facing stairs and went down them while the ship was sailing. man thought i grew wings as i flew as i watched my boat sail away.
