Sometimes they take a while to load but recently there was issues after a cyber attack on the servers so perhaps this issue could be a result of that. Best thing to do is use the in-game feedback option to send a bug report to the devs, it automatically attaches your logs with everything they need to help fix the issue.

Check your savegame folder for Steam and see if they are still there. The location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\ <steamid> \298610\remote\SaveGames Also, now that you can get into the game, send the developers a bug report via the in-game feedback option in the pause menu or from the settings menu. They will be able to help you better with your log files.

Have you changed which computer you play on or changed or formatted your hard drive where the savefiles are stored?

Since you can't get to the main menu to submit a bug report the best thing for you to do is join the Official Ylands Discord and post a bug report and attach your logs there. Make sure to include your Steam and in-game user name so the devs know which accounts should be linked. The filepath for the output_log_clean.txt file is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ylands\Ylands_Data

Both of these issues are likely due to the ongoing cyber attacks on the studios servers. The devs can likely return your items to you but ideally they would have your logs from the ingame bug report to aid this process. You can manually attach the logs here instead. The game studio has been undergoing a cyber attack the past couple of weeks which is affecting all of their games. All we can do is wait while they try to get all of their servers back up and running. Expect multiple interruptions during this process.

Most encounters generated in the world are protected and don't allow you to capture them as blueprints. You'd have to try each of them though as I don't know which ones are or aren't.

Looks like you have logged into the wrong steam account, can you try switching accounts and see if it works?

There was a bug that took several days to fix due to the dev team being on holiday. It should be resolved now!

Players in the past have requested such features so it is good to show your support for this idea. I think last I heard was the devs are just low on manpower to add these sort of things so it is unlikely for it to be added in the near future.

The original post is very old, the video is likely outdated hence why it is unavailable now. It is no longer possible to spawn items or use editor logic in Adventure maps/servers. However, you can use the editor to create custom maps for hosting servers in the community games section though. There are some tutorial videos on the Ylands YouTube channel, have a watch through the series to get an idea of the basics of using the editor.

In case you haven't tried already, you can change your in-game name once. From the Main Menu, go to Profile -> Avatar -> then change it to what you want in the Name field.

Just noticing some things in the creator cube ... The Beret, French Beret, Keffiyeh, and Turbans are not under the Hats category. They are still there (somewhere) when you search their names they will pop up but I can't see them specifically under the Hats category.

I've been encountering these weird bugs where I lose progress after exiting my Exploration game to the main menu and then reentering it again. This latest time I had just finished fishing, I had caught a stack of 20 plus a stack of 7 and had then put it in the stove and campfire to cook then exited out to Main Menu. Is it possible for an Yland to generate without a cave? I've been searching this Tier 1 tropical rainforest with no success. It's strange because the Tier 1 Yland right next door which is a similar shape has a cave which I've marked on the map with a star.

Encountered a little party happening with some boars and rabbits. They seem to get stuck between the shack and the log pile in this particular Random Encounter, the one with the bamboo shack and outhouse and banana trees. There are 3 boars and 3 rabbits in this screenshot!

I've noticed on numerous occasions that using right-click/equip from your inventory doesn't always work. The item you equip to the hotbar slot 0 briefly appears in the avatars hand and then disappears quickly, slot 1 (bare hands) stays active. This usually results in me punching things I didn't intend on punching. I think this may have happened to me in an earlier version of the game too but it happened again just recently. I was flattening the floor in my underground base with an Iron Shovel and my stone chest next to my blacksmith station disappeared. You should be able to unban them by using console commands. Enter one of your maps and open the chat bar (Enter key) and then type: /unban "their username"

You can delete that server from your map which will free up your character and allow you to choose a different map. You can always revisit the server later by selecting it in the multiplayer game window in the region map. Alternatively, get a friend to send you an invite to another map or click the join button next to their name in the Social menu if they are already in a multiplayer session.
