MP How?

Hey all

I would like to play Multiplayer with a friend. I do even have a "leftover" Nitrado Server which can host  Yland.

-But can anyone please explain me how to connect to that??

-I read everywhere that it is still "full of issues". But can not find information as to what kind...?

-Should we just use the ingame variant? If so, how am i supposed to find my friends game or he find mine??

It works. Just install it via the Dashboard and you´ll find it in the ingame Server-Browser.

What works? Multiplayer?

The game is installed locally and on my Nitrado Server. I assume you mean the Nitrado Dashboard?

How am i supposed to find it in the ingame Server-Browser?

I tryed under "online games" as well as "MP Lobby", with the server name and with the IP address. Nothing is showing..

It works. It has issues.  *Insert standard Early Access disclaimer here.  

If you have a small group (three total) you can use the cloud server for free.  I haven't used it, so I don't know how it is working.

It is that simple:

get a cloud serve at nitrado (check),

insert server token in the settigs (???),

setup server as creative or explore (???),

give server a nice ( l33t) name (???)/ password,

press "start server",

start ylands,

find mp lobby,

find your server,

join,

have fun

I agree, it "should" be that simple,

Except i can not find my server in the mp lobby....

How am i to search exactly? Is the Server "Name" the World Name or Game Name? Tried both neither worked

Or can i search by IP? did not work either.

Server Name is "Mojito" please try if you can find it

Still nothing. I did open a ticket with Nitrado but do not expect a response. It is Nitrado after all...

According to the Steam Forum i do not seem to be the only one with that problem. Can anyone else confirm the issue as well?

I think the P1 Gaming servers are hosted on Nitrado - if that's the case, they appear to be up and running. @RedEagle_MGN keep me honest here - you guys still on Nitrado?

OK guys, thank you all very much for your help! Appreciate it

Turns out it was a hardware issue at Nitrado. They fixed it within 24h after my ticket and its working now. So good service from Nitrado as well.
