Shovel to flatten terrain tiles at non horizontal
V-Alfred replied to kimbuck's question in Suggestions & Feedback
yep, I hope somehow you can type the angle while holding shovel or something, and flatten the walls and ceiling not only floor please. -
thanks, oh well sorry thats only for decoration. Maybe in the future update, if engine is not only an engine on things, I'll sure update that thing. I'm using that propeller just to hide the charging station to be honest, it's so big and don't fit anywhere on my ship except at current spot.

There should be atleast 1 rainforest biome. Usually at the center of the map (overall ylands map). if your save game is the old save (save game from before the rubber update) then you need to spawn/put it manually from Editor. Good luck and Have fun!

We need floating resource script in the future..

Using the Editor: Generate Water only?
V-Alfred replied to Whane The Whip's topic in General Discussion
I dont think there is 0 value for yland generator, might be in the future Editor for smooth water/same elevation as ocean level to make The Lost Atlantis.. -
i think it's doable, if it sink that would be better! You made a submarine.. but stones have texture shade issue when coloring, I suggest rotate it correctly.

About that yland. If you flying too fast in Editor its highly you have been missed the yland. Things need to be loaded to your screen, so flying little bit slower to give a chance for stuff to load is your step to go if you sure the direction is right. And yes, map feature in editor would be awesome, with or without "fog of war". Good luck and have fun!

RESOLVED [YLD-8003] Crashing when disconnecting energy streams ?
V-Alfred replied to Senneth Edcarlo Ruyeras Pabuaya's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
yep I can confirm this issue, it happened to me when trying to disconnect "end" node like spotlight. I can disconnect node on energy manipulation(like energy splitter, or, and), and energy node itself. -
Snap! I have same effect that ship won't turn, but in my case, the ship's boundary (green square around the ship) become so big in Editor.
-
Happened to me couple times, and at that moment, I'm @#&!ed up..
-
Strange, for me lag is not too bad from blocks around my large ships and house, but the crash is way more often like freezing/not responding while doing common things. Maybe its time for me to start over again. (update) I'm playing singleplayer, maybe different if you playing multiplayer.

And falling animation.. I was climbing the mast while sailing somehow I step at wrong spot, then falling directly to the hull and dead. Ship was sailing by itself after sank half of its deck.. Luckily there is "Non-ghost ship" system, got the ship back not too far from where I died.
-
Oh no.. I was delete my original ship composition, my habit to always "save as" with version next to it like blabla v0.2 .. I didn't know that save file of object have guid and should same in order to update the version. @Ane is there another way around? or I need to make new creation tab in workshop?

Dreadnought 2.0 Laddies and Gentleman, after fixing some issue I have, I would like to introduce you the New Dreadnought! With fresh color that looks elegant and cool will improve your sailing experience to the seven seas! Here you go a picture of it : Workshop asset will be updated soon, make sure to check it out! Don't be shy to post your feedback, I'd like to see you opinion or suggestion about Dreadnought. This ship is heavily made in Editor, and it contain bunch of blocks and objects. It could affect your performance. My potato machine can handle it smoothly tho. Change log Dreadnought 2.0: Fixed some storage doors rotation Fixed blocks that on top of each other at the same place Added New energy systems Added Charging Station Improve mast placement Improve hull shape (back side) Added railing to be more safety while ship still moving Removed cannons, because it feels like we don't need cannons that much Expand the deck for easy moving on top of the ship. Repaint most of the ship with dark blue and white Added more storage Custom walkway on top of the mast and ladder (Note : the ladder is kinda dangerous when you are going down. but going up is no problem)

lol, you must be miss understood, I meant change all blocks to the same direction/same texture shade.
-
Aye aye Facts is hurt, but it's what it's.. back to the topic, troubleshooting network problem is kinda finding an ant inside jar of candy, it's possible but you need to look at many factors. This could caused by port that used by another program(could be malware), or simply bad connection at the time( I noticed if you have atleast 3 RTO while playing multiplayer you will get "host unreachable" notification), and many other problems)
-
hmmh, bricks and some stone blocks have different texture color/shade each side, so that color differences is caused by your rotation. To fix it, you need to replace all in 1 direction or almost same texture color/shade. [Update] My suggestion, never use full colors (ex. full white/full black), so when texture shade is different you can paint that to a bit darker/brighter. Good luck and Have fun!

[Could be a Bug] Weird Size of Ship's Hull Boundary
V-Alfred posted a question in Suggestions & Feedback
Hey Devs and Ylanders, something weird happen when I was building my ship in the Editor. I don't know how this happen, I just realized this bug when I try to move my ship with my character in explore mode, and the ship won't turn, only onward and backward. Back at the Editor, click the hull, I saw that the boundary (green square) of the ship is changed, and it's so big (picture number 2). I though it was because I miss click and group objects that far away, but I couldn't even check it, because when I go to farthest point of this green square, it will gone poof because of the distance limit of selected object. And then I check the right click option to see if the hull is really in grouping, but nothing say "group" in there when I only click the hull (picture number 1). Here is my exploration mode save game, where this bug happened. My ship is at another island nearby, when you spawn in from editor you will see fisherman shack nearby. You can follow this angle (picture number 3) to get to my ship's location, it's simply just forward not too long from this angle and the ship is at the beach on another side where you from. For now I can't seems to fix this issue, so I'll just load my old backup. If you guys found another way around please let me know. Thanks in advance. RAGNAR(1).rar -
Did you know the trick to place something glitch through things? It simply just like that
-
Wow, never happen to me before, try to select the hull ship, and then rotate it in the editor. How to do that? How to open explore map in Editor, I explain it in my second post there.
-
As long as you place it one by one directly (not by composition/ custom things outside of vehicle bound) because currently, if you place/make things outside vehicle bound then place it onto your ship, it will just float there(not moving with the ship).
