  3. Hi, Sun and Moon are back, night looks wonderful! Now I can do something useful at night. Also, new biom is really very pretty and tea is what I needed! Maybe tea would make us faster in crafting for a change? It would be nice. At last katana is back!! I'm playing adventure mode, as always I'd like to help you finding few bugs: There are still big problems with trading: -NPCs in many cases never show up. -When they show up, after one trade they leave and never return. There is no usual sign "I will be back..." also. -NPCs still start menu with bundles opened first. -After first succesful deal, next deal is always broken: choosing 4 first items for sale is ok, but 5th always "freak out" and you cannot change amount and eventually NPC doesn't respond to another try. -Fighting combos need a bit of fixing in my opinion. Many times, when fighting I'm accidentally destroying half of dropped items, because combos do not stop, just chop again and again. Maybe you could somehow set dropped items, like hide, pelts and meet to be indestructible during the fight? Or set some king of cooldown timer, so items can be destroyed after few seconds after being spawned? Right now in many cases I tend to kill aggressive animal and destroy hide and meet.   4. Hi, I played third time in Exploring Mode and in every game, after exploring big part of the Ylands, map suddenly stop to be updated. Map shows where you are and what are you looking at, but it's not drawed. It's not showing new places, not removing fog of war. I discovered that it revealed part of the map is always a square... So, map is working properly, you can see your map and then suddenly map "ends". Sometimes you can move explore something to the left West from you, but you cannot do the same on the Eastern part of the map. It looks like half of the map is possible to explore, but everything to the East ofcertain point isn't. Also, I realise that map is cut into tiles. If you are in the same cell, you can reveal some teritory to the West of you, but if you leave that "working" tile" - map isn't revealing at all - nowhere. Another problem with map appears when you die. In most cases map is incomplete and even my own Yland is covered in fog of war again. Additionally sometimes maps shows wrong tiles - I can see fragment of the sea and land of some other yland in the millde of my yland. Tile is square, rougthly 1/3 lenght of middle size Yland (64-128 ground tiles wide?).
  5. Hi, There is a random bug (I guess it's caused by missing "drag and drop" during opening boxes, crates and chests) that make "seventh" slot unusable (in 9 slot containters). It's hard to say which one is broken in slots of different containers (different than 9 slots big - I'll let you know). You can easily check inventory slot problems, by filling all the slots - I don't remember which one was it, if I find it - I'll edit my post). Broken slot can be spot simply: slot is empty, but with number in it. Item in the slot is wrongly shown down below the item window. Sometimes you can drag item by drag item from the place you see these "in the air", but mostly you cannot do anything (I'm trying to understand why you can sometimes click on the image - below the window, and use or move items and sometimes you cannot do anything - only reloading helps). It's also impossible to add anything to the slot (of the same kind) or replace slot with any other item. With Regards, Bartosz

Hi, This is my list for last Ylands version animals/plants bugs: Animals: 1) Sharks are usually spawned in the air and then fall "if they see you", however - moslt they go off shore, clinb mountais (withour visible reason and.. eventually leanr to fly. I know, it's evolution, but you should know. 2) Some animals ar not responding at all for reasons unknown to me yet, except they were all me in the mountains. Leopards and boars do not move at all, do not react - everything is sound when you hit them. They just stand there. 3) Some animals are spawning in deep water: seaguls, boars, even bears. It seems to be impossible for them to move from the water, so they are standing there or spinning around like seaguls do. 4) I'm not sure if it was repaired in last versions, but bears didn't care about water and you could find them sleeping under water. They are big, so, when standing they can breath ( I guess) in shallow water, but they also lovet to go asleep there, so, sometimes water is a trap.. and sharks ore less problem than bears... and bears are less seen in the mountains than sharks! 5) Some animals are spinning around during the fight or without visible reason - wolfes are sometimes spinning around during attack, but bunnies can be see in mass in mointains spinning around ridges. Thay cannot jump so high.., so they just stan there are... spinning around. Sometimes dozen of them or so. Plants: 1) Some of the trees, these with two branches usually - birches or palm trees - sometimes are "invisible" for tools after being cut. They are there, can be seen, they react to removed ground and so on, but you cannot cut them or saw them. 2) Some withered plants are "invisible" and cannot be collected - as I suppose they are mostly withered potatoes, but, I'm not sure. 3) If you split your seed in seed box in two and one of these you "equipe" you can plant forever. Counter is still the same and even if it's working and stops at zero you still can plant. I'm guessing that when the first bunch is zero then engine is looking for other seeds of the same kind, but it's not checking if number os seeds is 0? 4) Bamboo shoots are not counted as seeds (and cannot be stored in seed box) - I'm not sure, maybe it was the idea, but I think it shoulb be counted as seeds, just the same as coconuts are. 5) You cannot use corn after breaking for making flour (we all know we can!) and we cannot roast corn as well. I'm not sure if it was made on purpose, but corn, as a one on the most universal plants on Earth should be used for both these things? 6) Hay Stack crafting require hay instead of grass. I guess that was the reason on making Hay Stack idea (as far as I know this is the way of making hay from grass anyway) - making hay from grass. I have thousands of grass and I cannot use it... Making hay roofs is horribly expensive and time consuming. I think it's a bug, so I report it. 7) Some random trees are not falling down after being cut off. However you can chop them to pieces. 8) Some trees are falling straight to the Earth immediatelly! I have to find them again and write down their names... John, Paul, James... (but, seriously, these are all ot the same kind, with leafes, medium climate biom - not cornifers of any kind, not oaks, not birches). 9) Some trees - seems to be random trees - leave invisible trunks. These are still there, you can chop these down, but you cannot see these. Well, I think that's it for now... All The Best! Thank you for the wonderful game! Bartosz
  7. Hi, I played constantly from the day I bought the game about week ago, game sometimes stopped for a while (maybe once a day) and then suddenly was working again. Today, after whole day of playing, game constantly crashes... "Application is not responding. Would you like to close the application It's about 2-3 minutes after load... :((( I suppose you need and log? Where to find it? I have nothing working in the background, no antivirus - absolutelly nothing except Steam... Game was perfectly stable until few hours ago...   8. Hi, I have found a few new bugs: 1) Big stuck in the wall problem. You cannot move through horizontal space 5 bricks high, but It is possible to jump into it or use ladders to do it. So, you can move there, but you cannot move out or jump out of the trap! You cannot duck, so, the only way is to demolish bricks above your head and/or bricks below you - only then you are able to jump out. I realized that bug in one of the abandon hunting house (that one with horns in frons and two ladders). There is space exactly 5 bricks high and I already, was stucked there for 4-5 times. I was lucky and had a good axe with me, however you CANNOT AIM at bricks directly above you or directly below you, so you have to destroy everything close to you and wish for luck! Please, try to add an exception allowing you to move out from any brick (stone/tree?), just for any case. Maybe option to crawl/bend your knees (maybe also to move quiet?) whould be useful? 2) Some trees after being sawed off are still unreachable. These are there, but you cannot hit them, even if you stand just beside it on "in it". Digging out lost part of the tree changes nothing. This happens mostly when one tryy have two roots: palms and birches. It seems that all depends on rotation of the fallen tree? 3) Some plants, esp. dried ones are still invisible to player - it's there, but I cannot reach it even standing on it. 4) After chopping trees on mass, very often parts are hungin in in the air - because tree being there before was removed. I can jump or build temporal ramp to get it, but there is bigger problem: 5) There are still situations when during digging out any resources parts of soil/triangular shapes are hinging in the air. Sometimes you can reach these with picks sometimes with spades, but mostly you cannot do anything, because you cannot aim pick, spade or shovel so high. I tried axes, swords or hands too - nothing helps. Very annoying. BTW. see next point, please. 6) Most of the tools have ranges of "aiming", however these are awkwards sometimes: You cannot aim with your spear! Spears are and should be long and could reach angry animals above you or below you (that happens very often because I'm always trying to climb a tree, my sheds od any higround. Spear is useless as other weapons in these cases - the only way is projectile weapons. Please, correct it. Additionally larger area of targetting would help with reaching and destroying objects "levitating" in the air as sticks, wood pieces, soil and so on... You cannot aim with weapons, axes, picks or spades directly obove your head and below your head. This is maybe realistic, but if you are stuck in bricks or trying to reach levitating objects - you're screwed. I'm always trying to reach bricks and objects I'm trapped in in first person view. 7) I'm not sure if it was ment to work this way (this is certainly realistic), but one day I fell of the cliff on my small boat. I died, but the boat flipped upside down. I couldn't control it, of course (which is realistic too), however it was biiiig loss for me at the time. It there any way, including cheats, to flip my boat right way again? 8) What happened to drying racks?? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it would be very useful to dry fish, meat and fruits, additionally it would be good way to make hay of grass. If you removed drying racks from the game, please - make it back. It would be very nice to make it possible to have better food without fire. And... some more diversity. How could I make hay!? I have tons of grass and I'd like to make roofs for my sheds... :(( All the best, Bartosz Radziszewski

  10. True, points are... pointless, but still it's a bug. Yes, collecting it is pointless, but still annoying, when I find hundreds of these and receive nothing. Maybe one day the points will give us something. Second point are bottles and books, Q, you say? I'm lefthanded, so my keyboard is customised, what 'q' is doing? Free placing mode? How I could pick something up in free placing mode? Anyway - I will try. Thank you.

  15. Hi, After last updates most bioms are empty, especially Tundra, Jungle and Temperate bioms. No MPC suppliers, no encounters, no ruins. Rest of the bioms; desert and arctic work properly, though no MPC suppliers here too. I was playing now for 50 hours or so, so around 100 ylands tested. 75% of these are empty (only animals are there). All The Best, ComR
  16. Hi, Because trick with two propellers doesn't work anymore, please consider changing flying time longer a bit (2-3 seconds) and cooling time shorter a bit (2-3 seconds). Why? First reason is - now propeller is less worth making than potion, this would be ok, but propeller is mid game if not end game success and it would be nice to make it more useful. Second - propeller is in many cases the only way to get collectibles which are above ground, especially now, when you cannot use first person and you cannot "focus" exactly on item you want to pickup or open. Especially in the caves this is big problem. Third reason - minimum range of flight should be enough to get away from danger - now it's very tricky, too tricky. My second suggestion is to make propeller a bit faster. It is the only way to fast move from island part to island part (you cannot transport cars or animals yet - as far as I know and I do not like cars. I play "renaissance"-steam-punk castaway). Third suggestion is at last pack animal - Goat, Camel or Horse (Deer? Renifer?) with crafted bags. Such animal would walk behind player as tamed animals sometimes do. It should work also when you ride other animal. Please, consider it. Transporting items with only one "backpack" is a big pain. It would be nice to have simple cart too (pushed by player or animals mentioned). Also bigger cart drawn by animal, with sitting place for us would be fantastic. People are asking for it for years now, as well as for separate bigger backpacks. All The Best, ComR
  17. Suggestions: -Bird's nest - it's too easy to by mistake destroy the nest. Please, consider destroying it not with right click, but through Radial Menu, like Powder Cogs and Sleeping Bags. It would be even better if we could pick it up and place when we want and break, if needed, as any item. -Wool - Pack of 5 is much too less. We need too many boxes only for storing some wool. Why not 20 as all most raw materials? -Clothing - Clothing (not armour) would be easier to storage if we could make stacks of, let's say, 5? 5 t-shirts, 5-hats - all of the same type, of course. -Explore Mode - Multiplayer Islands - It is completely of no use for single player gamer like me. I'd prefer to see only single-player isles. Could you add "delete island" (rebuild as single player?) or make an option on the start of the new game? Big Bugs: -After deleting an Island in most cases it's impossible to land on the rebuilt island.
  18. Hello There, I was playing last nights Ylands - around 30 hours in three days - yes. I'm disappointed with many things and I wanted to write: I understand Ylands problem - only artists are working, no coders, not even people to edit XML and JSON (or other table formats). That's why we have many new graphics and scenes, but no gameplay changes or even simple fixes (changing in the table tag, number or name) - fans could help you, but you do not want it. Even I proposed you many times, that I could help. Scenes - "encounters", there is too less of these for my taste, in fact. But it's easy to change - let people create encounters and nice things to see, collect best ones and include these in new game. I'm sure not many people would like to be payed for it, but you could give Ycoins and for people who are using servers - more server time or how it's working. Why not? And now something different - game really can work. I hope to see the new improvements, but, please, allow people to mod the game and everyone would be happy! Even you - if you find good mod you can always incorporate it into Ylands - that how it works in gamer-friendly communities, right? Let us edit data bases (items, seeds, names), let us choose exploring game properties: day length, how many enemies on average island, how big islands or how many (1 big or few smaller ones), how often we have to eat, how big our storage is, how hard game is (should work and?) - just simple things from every survival game around here. Please, think about it. And borrow few coders from Arma for a bit. All The Best, ComR

Hello, People, Friends, please, read it, or at last see how easy it is to add birds to the game, and please, "UP" the posts... :) 1) Now mutated animals give you only metal scrap - one piece.... Golems - three... WT? 2) Water still doesn't work. 3) Birds are still absent. I have simple tip for devs, maybe they have too much work. Birds = animals, but mostly flying. Yland proposed bird types (all based on existing animals): a) Running, sometimes jumping, from time to time leaving eggs. Few times a year (once a year?) leaving "bird's nest" (just like that - for now you don't have to match n. of nests and birds - people will be happy - guaranteed!). From time to time - when killed leave bird meat, furs and one egg. b) "Normal birds" - I understand that your birds were so heavy that they used to turn up ships. I have three solutions and few ideas: Solutions: -Make bird mass almost nothing - "feather" like. -Make birds not colliding with sails (after all player works the same way). If needed you could turn of colliding with anything (buildings or ships) - it would be better than removing birds. -Tragic solution: birds die on collision, leaving meat, feathers and don't forget the egg. -Make birds fly only above the land. Ideas to help devs make birds alive and running tomorrow: Flightless birds (rookie coder): -Make clone "ostrich" animal. Make it a bit faster and much smaller, add red beard - voilà! You have almost turkey. Make it even smaller and shorten it's throat. Make it leaving eggs and feather from time to time. Voila! and you have almost chicken! Flightless birds (rookie coder, who already made "Flightless Birds" tutorial? -Make new animal or clone "ostrich". Use old model of "seagull". Make if much faster, add ability to jump. Set jumps to very high and to last for very long. Optionally bird should be able to turn around during the "jump". Make the new animal always running or jumping, unless it's resting? Sleeping? Voilà! Make it "jumping" and "walking" only on land (if you afraid of collisions). Make it leaving eggs and/or feather and rarely (1/10 eggs? A year?) "bird's nest". Voila! You have almost seagull!   20. Previously water was fluid and it was possible to make artificial island, just by throwing dirt into water. It was possible to dig sand underwater. It was possible also and above all to make artificial lakes, by digging wholes and then dig ditches to allow water to fill the our lakes. Also, it was possible to make wholes in caverns and flood these full. That was fun. Game is better and better, I admit, but it goes very, very slowly. And, unfortunately some things are rather stupid, bugs rather than improvement - like last changing mutants bounties... For now it makes no point to hunt mutated animals at all. Piece of metal??? Or 3?? And maybe Ylandium dust? This is broken game for now. Hunting makes no sense at all. Strongest Gollem/Monster - You riskinf your live very much, so 3 pieces of broken metal is rather laughing from players. Shards? At last golden shards... I agree that the weakest mutated animal (I don't know what is it) should be relatively easy for starting explorer and the animal should drop random items, which could help gamer at the start randomly: Iron Shard, Copper Shard, Rags, Old Shoe (maybe golems? ), Flint, Resin, Feather, gold shard, glass shards) Also, the same random items would be nice to get during fishing. "No Luck!" is so annoying and so frusrating!!! Please, change it into finding random items!!! - Boots, Old Shoes, Rags anything, but "No Luck!". In this "mini-game" we are doin nothing, but loosing time - at least do not make it frustrating for sake! At least make different bounties, but worth playing, for example: Monster Class | Reward -Strongest monster in the game LVL 4-5 (I don't know which monsters are the strongest now) - Ylandium Crystal, 2-3 Ylandium Dusts (or at least Marble stones, instead boulders) - To be worth fighting if you are poor adventurer. Gollems Strong Ones - Ylandium Crystal Mutated Bear - (this is very stron enemy - 2 dusts was silly) - at least 4 Ylandium Dusts (as norman Bear gives meat and fur) List: Strongest: -3x Ylandium Crystal -2x Ylandium Crystal -1x Ylandium Crystal Very Strong Ones: -1x Cave crystals of different color (depending on mutated animal) + 3xYlandium Dust -1x Cave crystals of different color (depending on mutated animal) + 2xYlandium Dust -1x Cave crystals of different color (depending on mutated animal) + 1xYlandium Dust Strong Ones: -3x Ylandium Dust -2x Ylandium Dust -1x Ylandium Dust Middle Ones: -1x Cave crystals of different color (depending on mutated animal) + 3xMagic Dust -1x Cave crystals of different color (depending on mutated animal) + 2xMagic Dust -1x Cave crystals of different color (depending on mutated animal) + 1xMagic Dust Weakest: -3x Magic Dust -2x Magic Dust -1x Magic Dust Let me play for few days yet, I will list everything nicely. Or Simply: -Crystal Ylandium -Ylandium Dust (1-3) -Magic Dust (1-3) -Gold Shards (1-3) Only this, in my opinion, make sense. Badgers are to strong - at the beginning of the game badgers are more lethal than rhinos. BTW... I't sad that Rhinos are so aggressive. In fact Rhinos are not aggressive animals. Please, change their status to be aggressive if attacked or very close? If you make Ylands rewards to weak, fighting them will be useless and people will just go to sleep. Or... install cheats.     I have list of things to be repaired or asked by many which never were made... I must say - after 2 years of asking we have boxes: seed, soil and at last! Tool Box... But water, birds, "pause" in game, options (for different styles of games, as it is all other "living" games)... Ehh, I played already Ylands for above 1000 hours. That shows much, right?

    I know it could make problems (for example picking up things by mistake), but mostly during the game I'm collecting seeds and logs... "Take All" could be locked for safety and work only if you hold "ALT" (or other defined key) for example. Then "TAKE" would change into active "TAKE ALL". Also, it would be nice if we could select for example log only and click ALT+"Take" and only all logs would be taken. How about this?
