Hi Ane, Thank you for the reply. I have added some screenshots below, along with my newest save game and log files from today. I have also added my save game file from the evening before the update on the 15-01-18 at 10:38pm, which was when everything was fine. From the images you can see that I do not have the ability to craft a Broken Barrier, I can craft a Barrier, but need a broken one to be able to craft it. The old barrier is still in my base, but is inactive, does not highlight and I cannot delete it. When I started on the Island (for the 2nd time, After the update), there was no Broken Barrier in my inventory. I have tried loading my save game from the 15th but I always get the 'create new character' dialogue. I hope the images and files help to solve the problem. Hi, sorry to be a pain, but can someone please let me know if my protective barrier will ever work again or if I can get a new one? my post above explains what happened straight after the update this week. I would really appreciate some help, thank you.

Hi Ane, Yes, I am having difficulties since the update yesterday. I have already posted earlier in this thread as I had the issue with starting a new character from an ok save game, where I was not dead when I logged out. Started new character and lost all inventory items and crafting progress. Any way, after the update yesterday I logged into my game as normal only to be faced with the start new character dialogue. I panicked and quit the game and then posted on the forum for some reassurance. There was no response to my question after a few hours, so I logged into my save game and started the new character. As expected I was placed on my original Yland, with shorts, vest an empty inventory and no crafting progress. I made my way to my base location, which was, as expected, exactly how I had left it the evening before. However, I now have an inactive 'Protective Barrier' in my base, that I cannot use, or destroy? When I spawned on my Yland with the new character, the inventory was empty, so I no longer have a Protective Barrier, and one in my base that I cannot remove. When I logged out the evening before, The Barrier was off and I was on my ship. If you need any game files from me please let me know. I would really like to remove the Barrier and if possible get a new one, so I would be grateful if you could advise if this would be possible? Thank you.

Hi, Good to see an update, thanks. Just wanted to check, but I just started my game and it is asking me to start a new character, which is the same bug that I had before! I am a bit worried to accept, as I know I will loose all my progress. Can someone please let me know if this is correct, based on the update today? Thank you.

Hi, I just encountered a bug with regards to the Rubber Tree. I believe it has been there since I started this map (which was some time ago), but have only just noticed it, due to needing rubber for the Drive Belt. Issue is, if approach a Rubber Tree it does not highlight and I am unable to farm it, I can chop it down (even though it does not highlight) and chop it up to get logs, wood and all the usual stuff, including Rubber Tree Seeds. I have not tried growing my own Rubber Tree yet, but will try after I have completed this post and Edit once I have any info. I have added my game files below. This is not too much of an issue for me, but a little annoying Thank you. STUTOPIA(1)_[130118].zip output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt Ok, I have grown my own Rubber Trees from Seeds and although I can see the Sapling, once it's a tree I can no longer see it. So apart from using the Creator Cube, I am currently unable to get Rubber .

Unfortunately this happened to me again this evening. Slightly different this time though. Opened game up this evening and went to continue game, image shows exactly where I was when I logged out the evening before. Game loads up as usual, with no 'new character' option, however, once loaded, I am not where I left off, but I am at a place where I was about half way through my gameplay the evening before, but even stranger, is that my ship has completely vanished, along with all my items that where on it. My inventory and my crafting are all as they were, just no ship? I took a backup of the save file and loaded the game again, image on load screen still shows the correctly as from the evening before, game loads up and I am still at the incorrect location and no ship! I spent about an hour flying around looking for it, using my map to try and retrace some of my travels, but the ship is gone I have attached the relevant files below for you. Please try and sort this out, there is definitely as issue with saving the game and I think if this starts happening to more people it could be a big issue, especially if 100's of hours have been spent on the game. I did not have the protective barrier fixed so was not using it, and I did have the creator cube active.

I just logged in (26/12/17 @ 13:00) and game asked me to start a new player, I assumed it was because I had died when I logged off the day before (which I had not btw). Any way, that was not the case, as when I logged in, my inventory was empty (no letter and no MAP!) also my crafting upgrades where all gone and were back to the new game default ones?? I checked my SaveGames folder and I only have one save in there and the time was when I logged off the day before (25/12/17 @ 10:44). I forced closed the game, so as not to overwrite the save game and loaded up the game again, I did not get the 'start new game' dialogue, so was hopeful it would be ok (also the save image prior to logging back in, was correct, as I had left it), but it was not ok, everything was as if I was starting a new game. Strange thing about all this is, it is my same Yland, so I ran to where my base was and everything was still as I had built it, my house, my ship, my crops, my equipment, my containers, everything? But it is like none of it belongs to me as my crafting inventory and my main inventory are all as a default new game?? Is there any way I can get access to my old save games? There is nothing in my folder apart from the one save game and I cannot use that, any help, would be greatly appreciated, thank you. I have put many, many hours into this game and I would be devastated if I have lost ALL my progress in addition to the above I have since found another error......After loading the 'bugged' save game, I thought I would just wait to die and see if that has any effect on my lost progress (you try stupid things when desperate), so I waited until I starved to death and got the 'Oops your dead' 'Return to Main Menu' or 'New Character' option screen. I chose 'New Character' as normal, but then the screen goes dark and just locks up. My only option is to hit Esc. and return to main menu. If I then try to load up the save game again, I am already dead and my only option is to go through the exact same loop again, so therefore, each time I hit 'New Character' it locks up and I have to go back to main menu, so basically, that save file is now useless! I made a backup first and have since replicated the same error above multiple times.
