  1. Sharks problems should be fixed, as for weather effects -> On PC rain/snow should be fixed everywhere. Snow-cover should be fixed everywhere except for dynamic objects = you will still see snow-covered parts inside your ships/parts. There is no reasonable solution for this, there is a chance it can be fixed with higher version of unity but due to performance issues we cannot go for update there. On mobile you can see rain/snow inside dynamic objects and welded blueprints.

    Should be no longer problem since old launcher is obsolete.

    RESOLVED Rendering issues

    Rendering was changed since this old version of game and issue should no longer be in game. Materials like ice are no longer transparent since the did not work correctly with our shadows. So all of this should be fine now.

    This issue is fixed for some time, the MP simulation was redone since then.

    Issue was caused by improper multiplayer simulation causing desynchronization. Should be fine in current version of the game.

    RESOLVED Horse Stopping Ship in its tracks

    Issues were caused by overlapping of dynamic objects colliders which were not properly simulated (especially in multiplayer). This should be fine now. As for transferring animals it should be much easier with companions feature where you can have up to 5 animals in 2.3 (and hopefully up to 30 in 2.4) accessible in your radial menu.

This is very old thread, retrospectively I can say that on PC the optimization is not that bad in current state (game is playable even on old integrated graphic cards like intel HD 4000), although yes there is always room for some improvement. But compare to state from which this report was sent it is much better now.

    This issue was fixed when multiplayer simulation was redone, should be fine in current state of game.

    This was fixed with update to newer version of unity engine. Should be fine in current version of the game.

    All issues should be fixed in current version of the game = on rented servers. Local dedicated servers were disabled.

    This issue should be fixed for some time, the snapping system on ship was redone and should not affect steering at all.

    Should work fine in current version, although GeForce Now does not support Ylands, you should be able to stream/record fine if you turn on desktop capture in privacy control settings.

    Voxel visualization was redone since that time and this should no longer be a problem in current version of the game.

    Every mesh in the game was redone since pre-alpha, so this should no longer be a problem.

    UI was redone since that time, so this should be fine in current version.

    You should no longer fell through terrain in these situations. There are some still corner cases in game which can send you under terrain but, when you fall for about 500m you should hit "kill zone" which teleports you to respawn and no inventory is lost.

    Problems were caused by incomplete multiplayer simulation, should be fine for some time now.
  24. Indeed there were many memory leaks, all relevant should be fixed in current version.
