I am gonna take a quick break from running servers to do some work. When is the next update planned? What time should I check in and take a look?

I am just curious if we are looking at weeks or half a year for 0.7 (I don't know how big the dev team's size is).

If you, like me, would like fixing the editor to be top priority vote yes! I love Ylands but when I started playing with the editor, it became a dream come true. Sadly the editor is riddles with bugs: Save bugs, Script bugs, Crash bugs. More than any other feature I would love the editor to be fixed up. It's amazing. Please do this

Editor maps sometimes say "Saved" but do not save at all.

It's common.

I noticed editor maps are fixed to one biome. Love to see that fixed up.

Darkness is not dark enough on some screens and sometimes too dark (even with a torch). I would suggest making torch light a lot brighter to compensate and reduce visibility at night without it.

Avoid going in via continue right now. If a save is reloaded (which happens quite often) you wont be able to continue into a server. Servers have to wipe as maps grow due to corruption.

I find a stone knife & some poles are so key to moving up. Once you have poles you quickly get the tanning rack and loom.

Once you have the one of the basic materials needed to build a certain item then that item's crafting recipe will show up in your crafting menu. For example if you craft a pole using sticks and a knife a loom will show in the crafting menu.

I am not a dev but I do run the most active Ylands community and I noticed our servers saves get corrupted after about 50 hours of total user playtime. However, every little update has been greatly reducing that number. First it jumped to 70 and now I feel like its pushed past 100 hours on average. Great strides are being made. Hold on, this game is in alpha. If you want decently managed servers to play on hop on Discord and get the server pass for our P1 dedicated. We save progress often and copy over well made buildings from save to save so people keep their progress. https://discord.gg/cf6FCWA

They go corrupt after a while.

I just played on an official server after a long time doing personal hosting and I noticed they are really no good at all. Problems: Freezes when picking up items Frozen animals Freezing when people join At the same time I have noticed the player base of the game shrinking fast. We need to do something! 1) I am gonna try to put up some better public servers for the sake of the game. 2) If you have a PC that could host a server, please do so. I don't want to see people leave due to the server lag. 3) Please Ylands team, less servers and more resources per instance!
