    Still too early to call it, I haven't been sailing yet. But I feel like the release of 0.8 really improved my experience with this game. I had such a nice session last night (minus the griefer now dead on the ship he built with my stolen goods.)

    Personally, I would love to see more purchasable decorative and clothing options. I would prefer to just buy once and then have it in decorations file forever. Even if it meant paying more for the option. I really want the fancy chair and matching sofa and love seat.

    First play, very enjoyable. As Foobar mentioned, several time outs. But load in was fast. Time is not working. It semmed to stop at 0753 ish. Plants still growing. Able to play, but eternal morning. I also had an issue with animations / effects not showing up. I was down to 2 hearts, used poltice, bandage, medicated bandage, bear berries, pricly pear. Nothing. Then a few minutes later, back up to full hearts. Also I tried to bash in a locked door on game generated building using war hammer. I bashed and bashed. Finally gave up. When I was next at the location, the door was gone.

    Thank you, @Aleš Ulm, all,I ever wanted was more transparency. I can't be the only nerd fascinated with the process, your answer was very interesting. I think communication is key. I can't wait to get my teeth into 0.8.

    @RedEagle_MGN also has some good servers. I play on his and @Baz Foobar's server. I like them both, but for fun and camaraderie, we have a great bunch at Foobars's place. I haven't found "my place" on Red's server, but it is well run and everyone is nice and friendly.

    I love so much about this game. The graphics are pleasant and fun. The music is very nice. The storms are crazy awesome. I love the ability to build limited to what you can imagine. I wish block placing was easier and less fussy. But in general it is a great system. I enjoy the community aspect of MP. I have been lucky enoug to find a great community, with admins who are diligent about keeping it fun and dealing swiftly with griefers. I like that you can play the game pretty much however you want to. Cooperatively, competitively and creatively.

    When they changed sleep, it introduced some new bugs/features. One thing is that time does not pass. And it seems like it doesn't heal anymore?

    There are some good full time servers. When I get home I will PM the info to you. Right now most of them are in limbo waiting for the update. The plus side to having a private server with your friends is you can password it to keep out the knuckleheads. The downside you have already discovered.

    We call it arithmetic or math. Making it plural just sounds weird to an American ear, though it is probably more accurate.

    That is how it works right now. Planned to be fixed in 0.9. Read the Dev Diary #31 for details. Welcome to Ylands. It's a pretty great game, but still in Alpha. So be prepared for these things.

    Night length needs to be adjusted, period. There are times you can't sleep. Being stuck in the dark while you wait for daylight is frustrating and immersion breaking.

    If it fixes a connection problem, then I am all for it. Last night, I literally had to do around ten reconnects including three hard resets, and finally had to give up in frustration.
