kimbuck 746 Posted July 14, 2018 (edited) A postscript to the above post: The front counter is made of colored boxes each labelled to show contents and with instructions how to obtain the contents ..you do not have to enter the shop .. There is a warning sign saying the shopkeeper inside is homicidal and to keep out. The shelves etc behind the counter are decoration ---they have no contents The access door at the side is locked with a warning not to enter. But what happened? I hear a call for help - and discover a guy in his undies stuck on the counter complaining about the mummy/shopkeeper attacking him ! Apparently he used a known exploit to gain access to get behind the counter to see what was in the (empty) containers across the back wall and the shopkeeper surprised him ..and although he won the fight, in an attempt to escape from the mummy, he got stuck between the counter top and the ceiling ( its only 3 blocks high .. and not accessible by means other than an exploit.) Which makes you wonder.... All those warning signs, the contents are accessible from outside the front counter, yet they have to "break in" to see whats in the boxes at the rear of the shop .. This is one case where the exploiter was exploited! The mummy shopkeeper now has an assistant ..and i fitted bars across the front window as a precaution..whats the bet someone else gets caught despite the warnings etc ------------------------------------------------------- I just logged in and despite the bars on the window, the locked door and the warning signs ... another player has met his fate with the shopkeeper! Makes you wonder , doesn't it? and the shop floor is littered with fittings he stole from around my help center! Karma or justice? well you cannot protect people from their own stupidity. leaving the corpse there as an additional warning Note: the only way into that area is via an exploit, and that's a ban - action on this pvte server Note that this is NOT a trap : there are warning signs locked doors, bars on windows ... yet it seems some don't obey signs... The stupidity of it all is that there's nothing inside the shop to take, and the warning signs say this. I accidentally set her to indestructible when I set the house to indestructible. She's in the house, that's fine, then she worked her way out to the roof. Now we have an unkillable killing machine on the loose. So we painted her pink. If she gets away again we will be able to find her. I put her back in the house.
